Apart from 'double', 'triple', and 'quadruple', there are a few other verbs having a similar sort of pattern, such as 'quintuple' (increase fivefold), 'sextuple' (increase sixfold), 'septuple' (increase sevenfold), 'octuple' (increase eightfold). These words can either be used as verbs, as seen above, or adjectives. Great show, Dave. Much obliged.
I have seen many English learning videos on TH-cam, and your mode of teaching is one of the best I came across so far. Please do a video on descriptive words e.g. Words to describe natural beauty etc.
Hiii sir ,we learned more and more with your video and secondly we want to learn extrapostion which looks like very hard so please make a video for us about extraposion
David, good day! Could you, pls, explain differences between the (small) number of apples and a (small) number of apples? It seems ablsolutely similar.. and it's perceived like just "quantity", especially with adjectives.
I studied all your vocabulary lessons, this one is the last, it seems. Your teaching style is great. You have a talent for teaching. Thank you for such outstanding lessons.
I like the way you teach. Without any frills. Facts facts facts...😉
