I enjoyed your video....it brings back fond memories of when I flew in Alaska way back when on Northern Consolidated's F27 which look very similar to the Fokker 50...thanks.
I've flown on an F50 and F27 when Air UK was on the go. I flew down to Manchester from Aberdeen on a Bombardier Q400, there was vibrations all the way com,ing back on the plane. The way down wasn't as bad. :(
Probably would have flown on one of these to albany, but airfares where too expensive :( There needs some competition on these route because they can get ridiculously high
I would like to see Qantas ( Network Aviation ) and the others of Qantaslink add more Q400s,New CRJ900/1000 and CS100/300 as possible replacements for Fokker 100 and Boeing 717 replacements in the next 5 years.
+David Halligan Very comfortable, considering this is a mid to late 80s aircraft. I flew on them as a child in regional NSW and have fond memories of them so it was great to be back on one. They are surprisingly quiet!

NICE! Thanks for uploading
Awesome video mate! So lucky to have flown on one before they got retired. HUGE LIKE :)
+Perth Aviation im going to put the Albany-Perth one up next, with better interior shots.
Cool
Finally! An upload! ;)
yeah time to catch up
Great video! I have enjoyed it to be "flying with you".
I am looking forward to your next video.

+PoorPatrician Unfortunately these kinds of routes don't support competition. They are government subsidised as it is
Great video. Sitting next to prop is hard to keep the camera steady and prop frozen after takeoff lol

I think the B717s will be around longer than 5 years but yeah the Fokker 100s are getting on. Will be interesting to see what they do.
Great video! How did you like the Fokker 50? I've never flown on one; no airlines here in the United States ever ordered them.

Will you do another flight back to Albany with REX?
C. Collier maybe one day
