Why anticlockwise angular momentum is taken positive, why not just use the left hand rule instead to claim positive clockwise direction? Make video on it.

    WONDERFUL EXPLANATION!
    but i have a doubt
If we mark a point on a disc and then rotate the disc about an axis passing through its center then after one rotation will the value of angular displacement be zero? since displacement depends on initial and final points , if they become same then won't it be zero? some sources say that it will be 2 pi radians

Sir for centripetal acceleration we can derivate it by taking magnitude of velocity constant but how even the velocity is variable by its magnitude its centripetal acceleration remains v2/r?????

    • @shiksha4157
      @shiksha4157  ปีที่แล้ว

Centripetal acceleration is also variable because it’s direction is changing at every point. To understand this, draw a circle and mark different points on it. From each point draw radius and it’s direction towards the centre. There you observe the direction of centripetal acceleration at that point. It is different at every point.

@@shiksha4157 No sir physics is all about some solid reasons , And sir I shall tell you about that reason for which angular velocity has direction along the axis of rotation is that think about Right hand rule...If we put our's wrists on centre in a way that thumb is along the axis of rotation and open the fingers outward along the radius and twist along the tangent of the particle at that point of circle. If we do so then we can say that it has direction along axis of rotation because it is sure that particle will leave the circle along the tanget...if that's not so.. then sir it has some other solid reason please explore about that.....

It moves in a circular direction but we cannot assign the direction of angular velocity along the circle because at every point on the circle, the direction changes. Only perpendicular direction is common to all points.

    • @shiksha4157

Upwards or downward which means perpendicular to the plane of the circle.

Uniform motion jo ap bol rhe ho usme magnitude of velocity will remain same. Direction keeps changing hence vel is changing so it is accelerated motion.

Vector subtraction is not like normal subtraction. Your mistake is u r doing v2-v1=0 but v2 and v1 are vectors. Both have different directions.

Sir I hope you are reading this. Thanks for the video sir. I watched the video, but my questions are -
    1) Angles covered by points A, B, C (in a given time) are same. But why should their directions be the same? According to what rule/ logic they should all have same direction??
    2) Even if all of them have same direction, how can we human beings decide the direction? ?
    Please answer Sir.

    • @shiksha4157

Velocity is always defined in a particular direction.

I also have same question . How can you say that angular velocity vector is same for all direction ? I could believe you once if you said angular speed , but angular velocity being a vector must have different directions at different positionna
