Nass Botha was the star of this match and scored 20 of the Boks 24 points .The Boks were far the better team in this match and deserved their big win. The ABs were desperate by bringing back 33 year old lock Frank Oliver who hadn't played test rugby for 2 years and was well past his best.
The greatest NZ series win ever, considering the player that were unavailable, the demonstration and riots, plus how the tour ripped the country apart, and simply the Springboks position by position were bigger, and faster than the all blacks. The Springboks only had themselves to blame for the series loss and in particular that 3rd test loss.

The person/s responsible for leaving out Germishuys, Louw and Claasen from the 1st test shud have been made to walk the plank.
Should have been a series win but Clive Norling had other plans.
Actually, would have been a drawn series if we hadn't been awarded that penalty but hey made up for '76.
All blacks played forward offside
