- Was able to keep my promise and grinded out this cover before the month ended. Cut it a little close but the workflow changes paid off and I'm extremely proud of this one. Hope yall enjoy!
I'm not a very big fan of Persona 5 after going through and playing some of the older games but I'd always respected it's OST, as overrated as it kind of is (imo). This song in particular was one that I'd always come back to and after learning the chord progression and playing it with some friends, I decided to make a full cover of it. The original idea was for a much slower, funk inspired cover of the song with a lot of crossover from Ideal and the Real since both songs happen to be in the same key. I ended up scrapping it though since I wanted to give Ideal and the Real it's own cover some day and what I had didn't sound like a good enough quality to publish. Almost felt like I was being lazy with my arranging so I upped the tempo and decided to go for purely original ideas. It got rough at some points it all worked out in my eyes.
I wanted to cover 2 Persona songs this month and I was able to achieve my goal so I'm very happy! I proved to myself that double uploads in a month can definitely work so I'll try to stick with this schedule as much as I can. As for what's next, I know for a fact that the Fire Emblem cover I was thinking of will drop sometime in July, but it's not gonna be Engage anymore. That cover will take a lot of time to edit and arrange so it will most likely be the end-of-month cover for July so I'll have to think of something for the next video. Kind of leaning towards a Trails cover but we'll see what happens as I'm really bad at keeping promises lol. If you read this far, as always you're a real one. Any and all support from you guys is always appreciated, we've come a really long way and I don't plan on stopping. Whatever the next cover may be, I'll catch yall in the next video!

P5's soundtrack is definitely the worst of the modern persona trilogy but it has some bangers like this one
i personally like the songs from 3 and 4 just as much as 5.
For me, all of the songs are equally amazing.
P5R introduces some absolutely AMAZING songs, and OG P5 has a TON of bangers as well
