Without Richie there is no Bonjovi. His backing vocals and his guitar tone make the sound.

Richie Sambora the guitarist is THE MAN.
“Bed of Roses” is imo their best power ballad. Also “Born To Be My Baby” is such a feel good banger! Bon Jovi is great and so fun to see you react to them!

"Wanted Dead or Alive" is a must if you want more rock. "Bed of Roses" if you want another power ballad. Also, "This Ain't a Love Song" is a good 90's ballad by them.

I graduated from high school in 1987. My senior class wrote in this song as our class song. Literally everyone I knew voted for it. Yet strangely enough, our class song was "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King, which had hit the charts again that year thanks to the movie of the same name. We were all convinced the teachers and principal didn't want "Never Say Goodbye" to be our class song because of the lyrics, so they fudged the voting. And frankly, I still believe that.
It was our song as well and a few weeks later we all said "goodbye" lol!!
This was voted as our class song when I graduated in 1987 as well. The administration censored the six-pack and back seat references. Jerks...

The backup vocal of Richie is kind of underrated in this one. I know he did some of the memorable one like in Dead or Alive and I'll be there for you but this one is still solid.
Also, would be great if y'all explore These Days (1995). An underrated album by Bon Jovi. Arguably their best album among their hardcore fans. I'd suggest This Ain't A Love Song, Hey God and Lie To Me from that album.

Another of their songs about memories from this album is Wild in the Streets. If Never Say Goodbye is for senior proms, then Wild in the Streets is for the last Summer together that follows. Also, it's a fast-paced, fun song, if you want a change from the power ballads.
Their albums Slippery When Wet (featuring this track) and New Jersey have no bad songs. I still listen to them both, start to finish.
They even have other good songs that didn't make those albums like "Edge of a Broken Heart" & "Borderline".

Bon Jovi and Jon Bon Jovi, you can't go wrong with either. I have loved Bon Jovi for decades, especially the power ballads. You really need to react to "Bed of Roses", "Make a Memory", "In These Arms", and "Thank You for Loving Me" are some of my favorites along with the ones you have already done.
Don't forget Richie Sambora's solo songs.

Love the ballad role that you guys have been on. One of the big 80s ballads that you haven’t gotten to yet is Whitesnake’s Is This Love. It’s another one that conveys a lot of emotion. Especially in the solo. John Sykes’ solo in that song is one the best ballad solos you will ever hear.

Would love to see you react to Richie Sambora’s solo stuff. Stranger In This Town has a very bluesy feel too it and Ballad Of Youth has quite a Bon Jovi vibe to it. Went to see Bon Jovi in 1993, and I was mesmerized by Richie the entire show.

This came out when I was 13 and it's always been one of my favorites. Not many people bother to play it, believe it or not. Glad to see that someone reacted to it. But THIS song…..I had a fight with my boyfriend the night of my prom! I cried in the bathroom and then we danced to this song.
