Hello Maha, I just wanted to let you know that all the work done with your channel videos are much appreciated by those of us who do not speak Arabic or know the culture.
The best video for beginners to learn the alphabet on youtube. Arabic is a hard HARD language to learn but it's also one of the most beautiful, rewarding languages to learn.

Maha, THANK YOU so much for posting all these amazing videos.... its like being a a real Arabic course for free! I am Egyptian but grew up in Canada, and only can understand my family's casual Egytpian Dialiect. I am hoping to improve enough to be able to understand the news and be able to communicate fluently in arab countries. I have been learning a bit on my own using the book Alif Baa and "Mastering Arabic", but I find myself now, always watching your videos before anything else. Very helpful, and it's great that you are also so positive, funny and a pleasure to watch! And your teaching methods and style are very easy to follow, but still informative and thorough. Thanks sooo much again!!!

In fact, I've looked at a few professional learning programs, some of them $400-$500 and none of them did this! You're obviously a very good teacher. Thank you very much.

I'm Jewish and I've learned to read an write Hebrew and I want to do the same with Arabic. Even though I have no intention on converting to Islam, I still find other languages fascinating. Loved the video and it was actually really easy to pick up!
+Concert Videos shalooom Arabic will be easy for you because you know Hebrew. there are a lot of similarity between both languages . I took some classes in Hebrew and it was really fun. I also read the Torah and basically it's close to Islam. both believed in the same G-d of Abraham ,Isaac, and Jacob.
Arabs existed WAY before Islam did. Not all Arabs are muslim (Christian, Jew, Druz, Atheist) and not all muslims are Arab (African, Indian, Bangladeshi, Chechnian, Albanian, Turkish, Iranian, Malaysian etc....)
العُـنقود Islam is not a cult. I am muslim and i love my religion. How would you even know that islam is a bad religion? You've probably never had any experience with Islam or probably haven't even talked to a real muslim before.. Your just assuming it's bad because of everything you see on social media. Like ISIS they might say they are muslims but they are really not. they just want everyone to think it's a bad religion . But deep down inside of them they know it is a good religion. And this is coming from a real muslim. It is forbidden and extremely haram to kill someone. The quran says that if you kill ONE person you kill whole mankind. And if you save ONE person you've just saved everyone basically. The quran also says "Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds- those are the best of creatures. (Quran, 98:7). I love my religion and i will die a muslim. Maybe you should open your eyes and educate yourself. Go visit a mosque and see how peaceful it is there. everyone is so nice and welcoming It doesn't matter what religion you are. I respect everyone's beliefs so i don't understand why you don't respect mine.
actually when i was at KG and 1st grade when we learnt the basics of arabic , (in saudi arabia, arabic school) they used to say "its like an art class, be an artistic" lool =) so yeah

Thank you so much for posting these! I started looking at your videos when I first became interested in Arabic, but then I ended up being able to take a free course. The alphabet remained difficult for me, so I came back to your videos and they helped me so much! You have a lovely disposition and do an excellent job explaining things in an easy to follow way.
Football Pro1 They're English version Quran's.A lot of us can speak Arabic, but can't read or write it,because we weren't born in Africa or Middle Eastern countries.
I am learning Arabic for the same reason. we are supposed to increase our knowledge. Although there are English translations there are many things that cannot be translated exactly only approximately. I want to read, understand, recite for myself. Be encouraged & continue your quest for better understanding. Jazakumu Allah khair
The masked arab is a good place to start if you want to learn doctrines in islam. Wikiislam.net brings light to quite some controversial ones too. Its not necessary to understand arabic to understand the quran (as said there's english ones too), and if you wish to understand it - its equally important to read hadith and sira (or atleast have a general knowledge about them).
dawahworks - your logic of becoming Muslimah because of knowing Arabic is equivalent to me saying: since you are Mulsimah you should consider becoming a clown. The two are universally linked.

+chasem007ify I wish not to argue this point as I already do far too often I am merely asking for a translation of equality and giving my support thank you.
+King Wabbajack The pronunciation is "Mu-sa-wah"
The written form is مساواة
u
+King Wabbajack
equalty = مـساواة
the pronounciation is mou-sa-wét
in arabic the pronounciation of the word changes with his place in the sentence (the verb , the person who did the verb , the one that the verb was did to him , the time of the action , the place of the action , the situation of the person who did it etc ...) that's why the pronounciation can be :
1. mou-sé-wé-ton
2. mou-sé-wét
3. mou-sé-wé-tin
4. mou-sé-wé-tan
5.mou-sé-wé-tou
6. mou-sé-wé-ti
7. mou-sé-wé-té
Marhaban, here my homework:

Hey, I found this series yesterday, and I would like to say thanks very much for creating these. I started working on the lessons, and I am very encouraged by the progress. Here is my work below:
بيت (1 (BYT? Bit? - This means "House")
2) بنتي (BNTY - Binty? This means "My daughter" I think)
3) يبني (YBNY, Yabiny - "Builds")
Hope these are correct.
thank you very much!

Thankyou so much!
It would be great if you could post a link of the homework correctly done,

Maha Yakoub is the greatest teacher of Arabic on TH-cam. She is beautiful, charming, smart and funny and she makes me smile. She is a blessing from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى♥♥♥

Mr. Corens you can do it. The paradigm here I believe is: when are you going to start?
this is exactly how I've learnt the arabic letters from a book.but I did miss certain things from howto change te shapes when writing, so this is helpful.I'lL SUBCSRIBE TO THIS
Ato Cox And thanks for the Caribbean music at the end, with the reggae mixed with the steeldrums/ steelpan. It's my culture ( I'm originally from Trinidad).
Wow I love you so much. I am a Filipina working in middle east with zero knowledge at all but i can read now the first group you taught. I will be finishing your 7 lesson and lets see how it goes...... Thank you and God bless
This lesson made me so happy! When you said "now we made our first arabic word" I was like YES I DID :D :D :D
Yeah I'm Christian and I want to learn Arabic but I'm definitely not going to convert either
Arabs existed WAY before Islam did. Not all Arabs are muslim (Christian, Jew, Druz, Atheist) and not all muslims are Arab (African, Indian, Bangladeshi, Chechnian, Albanian, Turkish, Iranian, Malaysian etc....)
That's good to know. Please do not convert to that cult
I respect everyone's beliefs so i don't understand why you don't respect mine.
looks like am learning art..but its so nice. i love it.
yeah so.mmmh learning!!
Shelton Arshavin i want to know more of this...its very intresting

Thank you so much for posting these! I started looking at your videos when I first became interested in Arabic, but then I ended up being able to take a free course. The alphabet remained difficult for me, so I came back to your videos and they helped me so much! You have a lovely disposition and do an excellent job explaining things in an easy to follow way.
i'm learning arabic so i can read the quran.
Football Pro1 there is a quran in English language and to mine language
The masked arab is a good place to start if you want to learn doctrines in islam.
Wikiislam.net brings light to quite some controversial ones too. Its not necessary to understand arabic to understand the quran (as said there's english ones too), and if you wish to understand it - its equally important to read hadith and sira (or atleast have a general knowledge about them).
what does mean exectly ???
Thank you very much.
Jazak Allahu Khayran.

You should think about becoming Muslimah. Knowing Arabic, you should be able to appreciate the miracle of Quran.
consider herself lucky, being able to read and write Arabic and NOT being Muslim at the same time.
Adriano carneiro Thanks, you can always find me in Facebook with the Russian version of this name.
Sergey Rafirudov, her comment is quite stupid, but there no need to offend all the muslims of the world :D :D
dawahworks - your logic of becoming Muslimah because of knowing Arabic is equivalent to me saying:
since you are Mulsimah you should consider becoming a clown. The two are universally linked.
Barry Gordon its Muslimah .
Easy teaching and I am learning how to speack and write Arabic thank you very much got to go
I'm starting! - Hello!! from México.🤓
Welcome! from España
7 months are gone. Did you learn???
Gil Marcelino - YES! How about you?
@@carloshopper4660, I pretend to start to study. The video says that after 6 lessons is possible to read and write anything in arabic. So I wanted to know if it is possible before start
@@Vaniamoreira222 Hi! Gil - In my opinion, don't believe in MIRACLE- anythings. You might be able to read words in arabic, but is it useful if we do no know their meaning? It goes the same for writing. Never the less I think arabic is a GREAT language to learn.
Are the h.w answers BYT, BNTY and YBNY? how do you exactly pronounce it though? bite?binty? yibny?
Homework!
1) ب+ ي+ ت= بيت.
2) ب +ن+ ت+ي= بنتي.
