👍👍nice rifle, if you continue to have failure to feeds try ammo with a higher velocity. Some semi autos need a higher velocity. But like you said it may just need a break in period.
You don't have to sell me on that Rossi. I own 2 now. I can buy 2 more for the price of one Ruger 10/22. Is it worth it? Yes, it is. The 3 mags even at $54.99 which is also a sale price is worth it. The mags run flawlessly. I hate the fact that Cabelas only carries the black stock version in threaded or not. I would like to get the tan and OD green versions, but I might have to go to Rossi direct which would cost more. Watching right now at 7minutes you had a failure to feed. Aguila and CCI for me runs the best. The Blazer is said to be CCI manufactured but I had problems with it even in my 2 Rugers.
Yes I switched to the Aguila super extra hollow point 38 grn just ordered 500 rounds and it came in today. I have a video titled Farwell to A Friend and I shot 50 rounds in honor of him with no feed issues. So that's what I'm using in this rifle from now on
Good question I like them both but the reason I got the Rossi was because of the features... yes it is a shorter rifle I love how it wieghts 4lbs the fiber optic sights are another feature i really like and makes it easier to pic up your target. Sooo at the moment I prefer the Rossi but the Savage isn't a bad rifle either and it's lasted me 5 years

Daniel, do you prefer Savage 64 or Rossi RS22? Rossi's barrel is shorter if i'm not wrong...
