When Resident Evil 5 came out for Japan and Canada first, for a week people were doing regular speed runs and playing the game normally. Within 24 hours of it being released in the US there was already a gold egg exploit money glitch
1. Start with 23,675 credits and 3 nodes 2. Reset nodes for 5000 credits 3. Now have 18,675 credits and 10 nodes 4. Upgrade loop 5. Sell bullets 6. Now have 36,175 credits and 3 nodes 7. Reset nodes for 5000 credits 8. Now have 31,175 credits and 10 nodes
Don't reset and immediately get the first node again...flish out the extra rounds. I'm where I can upgrade 7 cap nodes. At the end it leaves me with 20 unused bullets that I can discard.... Grab ammo from the floor and reload to the default to get 50 rnds into the mag. Then discard that For 2x 25ea. You'll flush those 20rnds and it goes to inv( which you can sell partial rnds) ....THEN upgrade the first node & repeat. Etc etc.. if you really want another stack.... After the first node upgrade your left with 10rnds. If you combine that with the 20 in your inv from what I mentioned you can do a reload for 30rnds now in the gun, and discard the 25 ( new stack) and leave 5 in the gun 🔫 the. Continue with the grind .
This is capable in every dead space game. Its more of an exploit than a glitch and isn't really a patch. They'd just stop the pulse rifle from being able to do this. I hate when I'm trying to nade necros and it does this instead of blowing em up 😅
I am Ebenezer Scrooge when it comes to acquiring cash in video games. I ended my Dead Space playthrough with over 300,000 credits and a crap ton of items in storage. And I didn't need a glitch, just my kleptomaniacal goblin hoarding brain.
Good spot to farm especially when can do it as early as chapter 2. Only thing that freaked me out is that you can trigger a near infinite necromorph spawn on lower floor of that bench mark. Stupid me went down cuz I thought it went up and had to fight 10 necros at start of chapter 3 cuz i wanted to go to the lvl 1 lock door. Just make sure if do this, don't take the elevator down xD
@Kang only if want to open the lvl 1 security door for completion sake lol. At least can use the tramway to go back to the bench to avoid that. I do recommend keeping plasma cutter ready. I did spawn one necromorph in the bench room and was going back for a refill on the node trick.
Did this in the same area as in the video for a solid 40 minutes and when I went down the elevator there was about 17 necromorphs waiting for me at the bottom
The game has an AI director and it increases/decreases the enemy spawn based off of how good/bad you're doing. Seeing you obtain an armories worth of ammunition probably makes it think you are doing extremely well which it compensates by sending you an army of necros.
Actually, funny you made this comment, I was just like playing the game normally and I went to the door that you have to use stasis on. I did and go through it, however the door also closed on me, and for some reason I fell through the world and died, now I was on impossible so I thought my save would be go to hard, but shockingly enough, it stayed on impossible, so there's also that.
Nice and if ur still on impossible either quit to the menu or just close out of the game entirely b4 the death animation finishes and you'll just gl back 2 ur last save
You can do this with 7 nodes, thats all you need, 5k in credits and the base pulse rifle, as long as you repeat the steps you will earn 3k each time you do a run, however you can empty your inventory with the level 2 suit and leave only the two weapons and you can repeat 4 times to earn 15k each run, takes about 8 minutes to do it 4 times.. easy money
I feel like this just breaks the game for me I tried it and was happy but after a while you sort of lose that survival horror you want from the game regardless tho gonna use it for impossible need my 50th platinum and you helped me get it thanks bro
I did this for a couple of hours today and uh afterwards i had saw my suit was downgraded to security level 0, and the tram had all stations locked so i couldn’t go anywhere. i tried walking through the map and some room had an invisible wall and then j walked to medical and that tram was shut down like i had never overridden it.
That’s cool in all seems like a good way to get a ton of bullets for pulse rifle as well. But honestly even on the hardest difficulty this isn’t really necessary but I can see the appeal. Very cool!
@@MellyMelon1331 You can do it you got this! I have beat the game so far on Medium once and then went straight to impossible! Impossible was so fun so tense so grueling. I got my beautiful trusty foam finger back in my life! I will say the ammo economy is very fucked in medium for whatever reason I was struggling for ammo more in medium than I was in impossible there is definitely something up with AI director on medium. I’m on a hard playthrough right now and I can tell ammo is more plentiful there. Medium is the true hardest difficulty lol.
I've been selling my Pulse rifle ammo the wrong way. I just got to the first save point of Chapter three last night. I think I'm in a good position to give this a try. I'll disconnect my internet connection to make sure that I'm ok.
Now it's time to see if this dead Space 1 team is his greatest the previous. If they patch this then they are not as great as the previous Dead Space 1 Team. As the original Dead Space 1 team didn't patch any infinite money or powernode glitches. Well as long as it literally didn't make your game unplayable that is. We shall see.
I have to highly disagree with you there.... The best place to do this would be the Mining Rig Room in chapter 7.... The bench, store, and save are all right next to each other and there is a nice clean ground to shoot the rounds at.... In the area that you mentioned; the ground is littered with crap that you can't move and some of your ammo clips will fall through the ground... So I would either do the chapter 2 area or the chapter 7 area..
I had a dream of doing this & it backfired on me 😅😅😅. An endless amount of the worst necros came from the vents, halls, doors, everywhere and started to attack me. They wouldn't stop coming and I used all of my ammo and health on them. Eventually they stopped for a brief moment so I went and restocked on ammo and more floods and floods of necros just kept coming. I remember thinking in the dream that I shouldn't have been doing this now because the game recognized what was going on. I ended up using all of my resources and couldn't get more ammo and the necros knocked me out. I awoke in my dream to one of the fat pregnant necros dragging me through the corridors whilst other necros followed.
1. No more sardine and ghost pepper pizza before sleep for you. 2. Much as I pray the strat is never taken away, I do admit it'd be kind of cool if that "Intensity Director" could NOTICE an exploit. Or heck, even just respond naturally to you suddenly having 55k rounds and a million bucks by dumping half the crew in your lap.
Can't tell if you are serious or not but this actually happens in game. If you have wayy more ammo than you probably should the game will send more Necromophs at you due to that or so I've heard

I feel like there should be something like this in the remake of DS2. In one part of the game the necros knock Isaac out. Instead of killing him they're dragging him to the marker. And isaace wakes up and has to escape an even more Necro infested part of the game and the hunter comes after him and he has no weapons! That shit would bE fkn INTENSE!!!
Yeah, just tried it in the exact same spot and it still works. I did notice that a bunch of enemies started spawning in the corridor below the save station that leads to Intensive care (the tougher slashers that spit acid, like 6 of them for me). Not sure if this was added as a punishment for using the exploit or not though xd
Just tried with 4 and it doesn’t work because I lose 625 credits each time. The next least amount of nodes you need to get another capacity upgrade is 7, and I think that would cover the 625 credits I’m losing.
the alt fire for the pulse rifle deploys a mine, you can cancel the mine at any time to get the ammo back, you can do the same glitch with the line guns new alt fire too
Quick question: does repeating this method have a risk of spawning more necromorphs due to the AI Director system? I'm told that entering and exiting a room multiple times makes more necromorphs to spawn
Only if you go to a different area like say bench and shop are in rooms that are right next to each other you will be good but if bench and shop are a few rooms apart necros will spawn

only do this glitch once you have about 7 nodes, if you only have 4 or so you wont get enough out of resetting and you will lose money
This should be a pinned message! Wasted 2 hours of my time trying this with 4 nodes only to lose cash. Amazing how not single video has mentioned it

Advise do it as soon as you can as quick as you can because things like this get patched out almost immediately

Press the alt fire button while pointing your crosshair at the active mine. That should deactivate it

At chapter 2, you can make a profit of 3.250. Boring & time consuming? Yeah, but makes impossible mode a lot better, especially for ammo/heals
On ps5 it seems to not work because i cannot pick the granates up again as you showed..

Best place to do this is chapter 4 Main Atrium bridge where the upgrade machine and store is right next to each other.. It's a bit slow bit works
