I've been playing around with different muffler mods on my g660 and it just didn't respond like outer saw's I've done for some reason. I built my first Ironhorse pipe last night and man I'm impressed with the throttle response and sound. It still has a odd sound in higher rpm that sounds strange idk what it is almost like it's kinda 4 stroking but it's not?.

Well,i bet sweden guys have green faces now, that is what the saw should sound when it come out from factory.😁😎💪
Here in europe the EU set the regulations for emissions and older models are no longer on sale, only 500 series.

    Quote from New Life newsletter:
    Ability vs Attitude
Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:11-13
Performance is based not just on ability. You know that from experience. On different days, even though your ability does not change, your performance will vary widely. The difference is due largely to your state of mind. Yes, ability is important. Yet unless you’re able to manage your attitude, performance will suffer. Your attitude is determined by you, by the way you control your mind and your body. It is independent of external factors. You can always find a reason to be depressed. You can always find a reason to be happy. You can always find a reason to be despairing, or a reason to be positive. Yet external reasons do not really matter because they are unnecessary. The only reason you need to be happy, positive and enthusiastic is because you have chosen to be so, and because it will substantially improve your performance in any endeavor. On any day, in any situation, with any person, you can choose to move forward with a positive, winning attitude. Keep that in mind and watch your effectiveness soar.
Father in heaven, we don’t have control over so many areas of our lives… the weather, other people, the situations we face… but we are learning today that we can always control our attitude. Whatever today holds and however someone treats or talks to us, help us to honor You in the attitude we have. Shine Your love and let others see a difference in us, not just in what we are able to do, but the attitude in which we do it. In Jesus name, AMEN!
For success, attitude is equally as important as ability.

Mr Hopper what are your thoughts on the x-torq main bearings, can I use the old style non x torque bearings on my x-torq crank, mine has some play in it on the pto side, that's causing me a bit of concern I have read that x-torqs use nylon cages in the main bearings that doesn't instill a great deal of confidence in me.

    Quote from New Life newsletter:
    Humble
Finally, all of you be like-minded [united in spirit], sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted [courteous and compassionate toward each other as members of one household], and humble in spirit. 1 Peter 3:8
Anything you think to be “beneath” you will limit what you’re able to achieve. The people who are truly the most accomplished are those who do not consider themselves to be better than anyone else. Humility is critical to success. Why? Because lasting success in this world depends on the support of other people. And humility is a sincere expression of respect for those around you. If others are constantly subjected to your pride and arrogance, then any success you manage to accomplish will be short-lived. Meaningful achievement comes from raising people up, not from putting them down. Those who are consumed with being better than everyone else, never give themselves the opportunity to be the best they can be. Self-importance and arrogant behavior reflect underlying weakness, while true strength, confidence and effectiveness are evidenced by quiet humility.
Father in heaven, our culture often revels in and seems to reward those who are full of pride. Boastful and bragging influencers and athletes may tempt us to follow in their way but thank You Lord that Your way is higher and far better! Help us to live humble and think of ourselves and self-importance less. In Jesus name, AMEN!
Be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak, be bold, but not a bully; be humble not timid.

    Quote from New Life newsletter:
    Cooler Heads Prevail
Cease from anger and abandon wrath; do not fret; it leads only to evil. Psalm 37:8
Actions taken in anger are at best ineffective. Anything done in anger will almost surely lead to regret. Most things done in anger are blind and unthinking reactions, rather than controlled and intentional responses. When you let your anger take over your actions, you put yourself at a distinct disadvantage. The best thing to do when gripped by anger is to wait. Count to ten. Count to 100. Sleep on it. Think it through. Talk it over. Get past the anger of the moment before you take the next step. Certainly, anger can provide energy, but it is almost always a reckless and uncontrolled energy which harms anything in its proximity, including you. Acting in anger hurts you at least as much as anyone else. Wait out your anger. The energy does not go away. Instead, it becomes more focused and productive. Whatever caused your anger, there’s something positive you can do about it. When you take time to let the anger cool, you’ll find that positive course. Be smart. Cool off and be a real winner.
Father in heaven, we all struggle with anger and the inevitable regret that comes for actions taken in anger. We humbly ask for Your help to fill us with divine peace even in the midst of frustrating, anger inducing moments. In Jesus name, AMEN!
Keep a cool head and a warm heart.

    Quote from New Life newsletter:
    Persistence
Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12
Success is nothing more than failure which has persisted long enough to achieve excellence. If you don’t get it right the first time, by all means keep on going. What more powerful confidence could there be, than the confidence which is born out of persisting in spite of failure? The fear of failure keeps most people out of the game. Yet once you’ve experienced failure, and picked yourself back up again, what’s left to fear? Fear of failure is only for the weak and arrogant, for those who foolishly think that somehow they can achieve success without paying the price. Those who know true success also know that failure is not to be feared. No thinking person would intentionally set out to fail. We must give our best effort, and highest expectations, to each attempt. And if we fall short of the mark it is no disgrace. It is in fact another rung we’ve climbed on the ladder to eventual success. Out of failure comes the confidence and the determination to succeed.
Father in heaven, we humbly ask for Your Help to persevere when it seems we are making little progress, when the path is hard and the road feels long. Help us to persist and be reminded that success only comes after pushing through the failures until we succeed. In Jesus name, AMEN!
Add persistence to patience and you get perseverance.

Hopper just a question. Why don't you polishe the exhaust and grind the plate gasket and muffler to match the exhaust port. Most often they are smaller than the port especially if its opened just to eliminate restrictions and have a smooth perfect exhaust stream. Like you would on a automobile head. Rough intake smooth exhaust all matched.

    Quote from New Life newsletter:
    Lead by Serving
It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your [willing and humble] slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many[paying the price to set them free from the penalty of sin]. Matthew 20:26-28
The greatest leaders are those who are the most willing and able to serve those whom they lead. The most successful businesses are those which offer their customers the highest degree of value and service. To find true success, look for ways to be of service. The value you create and deliver to others will bring commensurate rewards to you. What you get, depends on what you offer. No matter what your social or economic position, no matter what your level of skill, there is always plenty of opportunity available to you, because there is no limit to the number of ways in which you can be of service. In any situation, there’s always something you can do to provide value. Look for ways to be of service, and you will find success.
Father in heaven, thank You for Your perfect example of leading by serving. We are all challenged today to be humble and be willing to put our self-importance aside and serve others. Whether picking up a piece of trash we walk by or taking the time to stop and help someone in need, help us to help wherever we can, not seeing anything as beneath us. In Jesus name, AMEN!
If serving is below you, leadership is beyond you.
