Totally agree.
I concur 💚🌱. She's still a pretty lady, an excellent gardener and teacher.
So nice of you
@@americaneden3090 indubitably
@@dirtpatcheaven just being honest ma'am.
It's never silly to save seed from your own plants, especially in these times. Love your gardens!
It's nice to see you again
thank you for the video. I got the answer as to why my greens have not headed out in my shaded greenhouse and they headed nicely in the outside grow bed. So good to know!
It will be interesting to see how ur asparagus does in the greenhouse. Love the idea of mixing perennials & annuals in ur year round greenhouse. Perhaps try saving some lettuce seed and show some seed saving techniques later on.. Tfs 💚🌱
It is always a good idea to save some seeds whenever possible, for foods.
Loving all the videos this week.
I didn't realize transplants didn't like an immediate flood of water. Oops. I'll experiment next season on initial water amounts.
Yes already started kale and other greens already
Thank you for the awesome videos as always. I'm going to put some shade for my lettuces and cilantro patch. Great ideas.
Can rabbit eat beet greens?
I'd keep just one lettuce plant for the seeds and use the rest of'em.
Yes, I feed my rabbits greens. If they are new to it you want to start very slow.
@@dirtpatcheaven thank you very much🍃
thanks
Thank you for sharing!
My pleasure!
You forgot to show the red painted pellet beds I think, or did I miss it.?
I did forget. I will try to get it in another video.
So glad I found your channel!! Can I ask what zone you are and approx first and last frost dates??
Nice hat
Wow big potatoes .. nice 👍. Idaho ?
Yep, Idaho.
Did I hear you say you were cooking a rock chuck in your Instant pot? Can you eat these? Where in Idaho are you located? We live in SE Idaho. (I.F.).
Yes, rock chuck soak in salt water and vinegar overnight tastes like roast beef when cooked in a slow cooker.
I think Julie is near Rexburg.
@@dirtpatcheaven That is so good to know. My son killed a huge one in the Montpelier area while doing road construction. I'm wondering how to dress these out, before freezing and so forth. My son is stealthy and accurate when shooting, but he needs to learn how to process the meats too.
WAS WONDERING WHAT PLANTING ZONE YOU ARE IN.....
Zone 4
Video didn't seem to match the title. I thought it would be about what to plant.
I was showing that you harvest your Spring garden to plant your Fall garden. Sorry you are disappointed. I did tell you what I was planting, brussel sprouts in particular are good for Fall gardens.
What are your pigs ????
Question. why do you want your newly harvested potatoes covered with a towel?thnks
To keep them from receiving sunlight and turning green and inedible.
Do your animals need that amount of produce daily?
No, we just give it to them because it is nice to give them variety.
Tried to grow lovage, without success. Any tips?
They like water when starting out. They might really like alkaline soil since that is what mine is. Once established they don't need any care, even water.
@@dirtpatcheaven Thanks much, Juli
