Sometimes we take for granted how difficult are the songs that Regine sings. We are often reminded of their difficulty when other singers attempt to sing them.
1. The key is lower. It's alright, that's where Morissette is comfortable with. Even Regine's version is a whole note lower compared to Sandy Patti's original. 2. The vocal arrangement. A song like this doesn't need to much runs and riffs, the purity should be preserved even though you can input a bit of stylizing. Regine, as much as possible, preserved the songs "purity". 3. The delivery of the song. It's a spiritual song. The message and the essence of the piece should be clearly relayed to audience. It always seems to me that Morissette is participating in a singing competition. 4. The difficulty of the song is extremely, well, really very difficult. The ethereal long sustained high notes which is more like taking your audience to "another dimension" has to be perfected for the grand vocal and technical interpretation of the song. We all know who delivered this song pretty exceptional. Morissette is very good. In fact, she is my chosen one in this young singers generation second to Chona. But when I look back how Regine easily delivers a song when she is as young as today singing aspirants, admit it, no one can defeat RVA. And up to this date, even though she is not on her prime now, she supports all OPM artists, promoting them in social media, guesting in their concerts, and mentoring all the young singers of today. Morissette, hopefully soon will be like her. Looking forward for Amon's career in years to come. Just an assessment. ;-) ;-) ;-)

Kaya pag sa chest voice iba ang sound na mabubuo u can tell, sa sustain of notes and lung power mas define na kay regine because of how many years na sya kumakanta at marami narin syang mga experience sa life that would add her ability in singing, where as morissette is just startting to soar high and still discover her range, i guess she is still discovering how low and high she can go , hindi pa buo ang vocal range nya because she is in the process at yung age nya not that experienced we will just wait and see as she matures. Regine is regine and Morissette is her own. Regine can belt one note higher sure but there are things regine can't do that Mori can, whistle notes. So theyre equally great in their own ways.
