@@jetterrotilles8625 What I meant was puro falsetto yung high notes. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate classical music--Mozart, Bach, etc. I simply don't warm up to that "classical" style for this song. I'm sure since you're "educated" that tastes in music vary.

She used another plafform or placement in singing this quite difficult song. Instead of using the natural, chest tonal voice, lani utilized her well-trained operatic voice in order to hit the high notes. But i guess, the only problem with this performance is that there were portions of the song where she used her natural voice and there were those that she used her operatic voice. Dapat she should hav been consistent all throughout and she should hav avoided too much shifting from natural to operatic and then back again to natural. If the approach was really to sing the song using the operatic placement or voice, lani should hav done that consistently from start to finish.
It is a difficult song. But the message could hav been clearer and more warmth to one's heart if the singer would use the natural voice because the natural voice is more forceful and u definitely need force in order to convey the message of the song to or bfore a big audience.
I think this is an example of crossover and not opera. That explains why she both uses her chest voice and head vooce.
That’s how good she is with her dynamics.. she uses different styles and she knows it well so why would she stick to just the basics if she can combine different styles! She maximises her strength and delivers a powerful performance!
