looking at this video for the 1000th time. i suddenly realised that when this video was made, most of these machines were brand new.. now today they are almost considerd "Modern Classicks"
We still use the T6080 Tm150 and Tm 140,claas jaguar roadster, two old velmets and two 2019 vlatra just shows that the some what old machines can still keep up
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Dylan Salvador Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
For quite some time I lived my best moments of summer in the shadow of a Krone BigX. We did corn silage, and it was the apex of every year for me. All those big tractors, silage harvester, trailers. Ahhh, the nostalgia. And this isn't even what I really lived, since we did corn silage here in Italy, wich is quite different, but it was enough to see one of those beasts, and my mind went back to those times.
I heard about The Grassmen on Radio Ulster this morning and had to have a look. This is Great and the music" Last of the Mohicans " was inspired. Now when I am travelling in the country I'll know what the "Hayseeds" are rushing around in their Tractors doing. In my day outside Lisburn on Westfields Farm it was all Horses and Hay Rick Shifters.bottles of cold tea and door step sandwiches.
Don't forget out launch night this coming Friday, 12th November, in Ballymena. Sure to be a big night's craic. Come and meet the three crews in person, including the Legend & the Bean!!!
Best silage video ever picture quality may be getting better over the years but this had best content ever bar none scenery ,around Belfast and Portrush great
On Moovers Fulla The Pipe - 5 Stars all the way! Great entertainment throughout all 2hrs 5minutes...Nothing left out.. Highly Recommended for anyone related to Farming or Agriculture
Your right too.... It's not easy. It's grand watching video's of the machinery and thinking I'd love that but ya put in savage hours and the pay is shite enough. It's something that has to be in the blood to appreciate it proper!!!
Great video every time I watch it better it gets love the background music and all the different makes of tractor are in the video feel like going back on the silage run again probably wouldn't be able to drive these modern machines come a long way from the crystals and 5000 and the single chop and don't forget the black smoke😂😂😂
The tune was listed as Promentory in the soundtrack to The Last of the Mohicans. Variations of the tune can be heard throughout the movie. Search for "The Gael" by Dougie MacLean for the original.
Love this video The end bit with them with the Forage and MF, Skerries in background amongst setting sun. My home turf. Alexander Antiques junction to Portrush. Love it 👍🚜
Those were the golden days of glory,uh man,if you are a farmer, you can sense a hairs on your skin is going up!ya man, this is it.That is the best thing what real boys like to do even for some is hard,no sleep, sometimes for 3 to 4 days nonstop action.auuuuuuuu ,like it a lot
Nothing bets driving big kit that i find funny as i seen people that can't park a smart car yet im only 17 and not got a licence yet. But can drive big agricultural vehicles and park them.
I would love to go back to doing that. I used to work on a farm in Penley Shropshire and drove an old battered ford 5000. Would love to do it again but for my 30th birthday god gave me hay fever and I can't go near a field that's been cut now without constantly sneezing eyes watering and snot coming out my nose like water from a tap.
wish they still made masterpieces like this one.
years after years ,one of the best agricultural video .... cause of the music ? great !
@@benhurdupoitwoo7675no its the feeling

We run a t 6080 6610 tm140 nd 8340 still going well
That makes me feel old 😂
I wish i was old enough to get the chance to run this type of gear back then but i was only about 3
If this video doesn't make you feel nostalgia for those moments, even if you aren't the one who lived them, you aren't an agriculturalist
So true
Great to see someone has given the silage season in Ireland the cinematic attention it deserves. Good work.
Lĺòl
This may be the single video that made me fall in love with farming and grass men
Same
My 2 year old insists on watching this every day. Great video and testament to the men and machines.
Thanks 😁
@allistairc123
What you see is what you get - we've licensed this track for the DVD. It's called Promentory for those who were asking.
Ok
Can not believe it had been out over 10 years. Makes me feel old
no matter how many times I watch this video it gets me farmin blood goin. great machinery, great local scenery, and a great bit o music to go with it.
Goosebumps for me every time I watch it
This video is legendary love the cinematography, these days too many drone shots with 95% field & 5% machine in view.

Wish grassmen would go back to this, the videos back then were good not all focused on the Owners but also the lads that were working.
