Actually (In Britain at least), using a 2 way radio does not come under the scope of the mobile phone regs HOWEVER you could still get done for "Driving without due care and attention" and you will have the devil's time disproving it.

hmm here in the US so long as you are a farmer of some sort you can haul any thing of any size or weight so long as you let people pass every once and a while. like for example I could haul a 40 ft. o about 10.5 meters or there abouts unfolded all the way across the road and it would be perfectly legal. the only thing that is restricted is the semis. so long as you have a farmers license you can haul 14 ft. wide loads so long as you pay some attention to the weight limit and have orange flags tied to each corner of the load. but if you put a tractor in front of it you can haul any thing. that is the basic idea in ND
