Wow, I never realize how big Coco is… I think there is a scooter rental place nearby that I plan to use to explore these other areas of Coco and surrounding beaches. Couple more weeks and I’ll be out there 🌴☀️🏖️🛵🏍️🌊
A few reasons I've observed - it's normal in central America to have more robust physical security on houses - the property taxes here are probably 1/6th or less than i was paying in Canada. With that comes less expectation for the police especially with prevention and investigation of property crime. - many of the houses in this area are unoccupied by the owners and rented out, so it's good for bars to protect inside. - bars on doors and windows allow for windows to be left open at night and lower power bill for AC. - as for security guards this ties into the vacation rental aspect. All these condos pay monthly hoa fees which provide the guards.
@@sights.sounds Or the longer the beach is, it offers the opportunity to get away from crowd and enjoy freedom...when i Google about enjoying Costa Rica beaches au natural, it talks about Montezuma and also says it's pretty common just away from crowded spots....No body complains....
@@sights.sounds It would be great if every country had at least a beach like Zipolite in Mexico. But the IQ of the world population hasn't evolved enough yet. However, when one has his own wheels, he can find what he's looking for. Im just talking to you about this because I'm curious with what will come out of it and don't worry, I'm not the only one who enjoys freedom on beaches.
Yes check out this video, it's just up the beach. I think the name of the beach has changed on the map though. th-cam.com/video/ZIG_UqDQZNo/w-d-xo.html

Where is the turquoise club gated community located
It's on the main road, just as you enter Coco on the left.
I like beaches one can enjoy naked. Official or just because it's mostly deserted.
Coco definitely isn't that beach. Usually the harder a beach is to get to, the less people will be there.

I haven't ventured down there yet but it's on my list!

I was hoping you would do more of a description of Playas De Coco as I understand this location is for sale unless it has already been sold
Here's a video of the town and main beach area in Coco th-cam.com/video/O-R564Uekos/w-d-xo.html
And which location are you asking about being sold?
@@sights.sounds I believe the hotel is called Playa Del Coco
Ok I'm not familiar with that hotel. There's a few that I believe are for sale. Is the hotel in this video?
@@sights.sounds no
The company that has the listing told me the hotel was called Playa de Coco that’s all i know
By the way, which beach offers the best sunset,
Coco or Hermosa??🌅
Both are great towards the north ends of each beach. Hermosa is more chill and has a nicer actual beach though.
Do you have videos on Bahía Matapalo ??
Yes check out this video, it's just up the beach. I think the name of the beach has changed on the map though.

The shops accept credit cards or is better pay with the local money?
It's not generally cheap to rent anymore.
