Awesome, it's a great time to visit. What area are you staying in? I'm going to film a video around Cocomarindo this week, should be up before you are here 🤘
Being this will be our first visit, we are just going to stay along the Guanacaste Coastal areas. First week, south of Tamarindo second week Playa de Coco @@sights.sounds
@@sights.sounds we enjoyed it a lot…. laid back, great beaches and places to eat and drink. Make sure you go to the Natural Center for out of this world pizza!!!
Yes I have. It should be raining a bit by August so much less heat during the day. It'll be less busy than in the high season(Nov-Mar). You planning a visit?
I will be there in early February and I have two questions. What does the sunset look like at this time? Can you see the sun setting? And I'm planning a day trip to Playa Hermosa. Is it within walking distance or would you recommend a taxi? Thank you
When I was just there the sun was setting pretty far to the south, over the hills. In a month I doubt it'll change enough to set over the water. Hermosa I wouldn't recommend walking. You could but it wouldn't be short or enjoyable. Taxi is better.
Hey thanks. So if you use USD often the vendor will look at the rate posted by the bank to exchange to colon, they might even give you a bit worse rate due to having to change it over. What I most often do is use my credit card to withdrawal cash colon so I'm only paying for a conversion once. If you'd like to exchange USD to colon so you know exactly how much the rate will be, I'd recommend head into a BN Bank. You'd just need your passport.
