- This video is going up on my birthday so I thought I would open my present a little in advance to share it on the actual day! My husband bought me a bunch of spooky books for my birthday present and wrapped them so nicely (way better than he claims to be able to wrap presents😂). I just couldn't wait to open them and share them with you! And probably no need to do a separate October TBR video because this is basically it.

I’ll say, If I wasn’t doing a Harry Potter/witchy/magical vibe for my main channel, it would be Halloween all year (in a way kinda is). Halloween people are my people 😄
I finally convinced myself this year that much of my Halloween decor is staying up all year round because we try and go for a witchy vibe to get more of that in the world feeling and because I love a bit of darkness 🤣🖤
Also I meant to comment, my husband did the same thing… Of buying me something, knowing it could be a video. The sweetest! 😀
P.S. I was planning to shout you out in a favorites video, on my second channel, that I’m recording this weekend. Keep doing what you’re doing. Also I just picked up Witching Year today and am looking forward to reading it. And I have Hollow Kingdom, so you reminded me to get to that one.
Sorry, I’m a (as Jade the Libra would say) … longest story longer, girl. I hit that age where I just embrace it now. 😁

I am not great at leaving comments, as I am usually watching/listening while I work, but I will definitely check out your videos! I definitely have a witchy vibe in a lot of my decor so I would say at least 50% of the Halloween decor I buy just stays up all year round, if not more.🖤

Happiest of birthdays to you! 🎂 Your husband sounds like a great guy. I’m hesitant to guess your age because I’m terrible at it. My guess is based more on clues you’ve given, such as a past career as a librarian (I know you had to go to college for that), you’re married, moved back to the town you grew up in, etc. I’m guessing 29?

@@housebeyondthehedge I almost guessed! I was thinking you might be close to my age only because of some of the references you've made to things you grew up with. I just turned 40 this year. Nice to find another of a similar age. 😃
