Unhinged TJmaxx Halloween Hunting and Haul: most extra thing I have bought, was it the right choice?

- Back on my BS at @tjmaxx and as per usual, I couldn't get out of there without a fairly major haul. I made some, shall we say, interesting choices in this one. So let me know if you think my purchases are good ones, or more like what were you thinking! Even though I tried to be less thorough, the Halloween hunting footage in this one is long, so jump to the 15:09 mark to skip that and get to the part where I actually bought stuff.

Dying at the necklace! I don't wear flashy stuff either, but I have always had a soft spot for Betsey's kitsch. I have several pieces of hers that I haven't worn, but just enjoy looking at. you could always get a black velvet neck form and just put it on display on your dresser/vanity/etc.
Oh that is a good idea! I do want to wear it to somewhere eventually, but displaying it in a cute way would definitely help me justify the purchase.😂
Also about the necklace! Girl just wear it you don't need a special occasion I guarantee people will love it and won't think twice about if your wearing it for a special occasion or not❤

I normally fill a pot just over halfway with water, place the candle in the middle, and slowly heat it. You don't want to heat the water and then drop a candle in a glass holder in, the quick temperature change can cause it to shatter. You can also buy cotton wicks & a pouring pot and redo the candle in the center yourself. There's plenty of how to videos on YT-I have done it many times to put candles I like the smell of in cute holders.

I’m sorry your day hasn’t been great, I hope it is getting better! One of the candle companies I like does have candle refill kits, so maybe I will buy one of those for it after I get the wax out!
Totally agree that candles are so fun to buy from small businesses. I have my fave brand that I buy from their seasonal launches. Although the fun containers for candles at TJ almost get me every tine😅
Yeah I sometimes can’t help buying one from like TJmaxx if it is really cool packaging, but really try not to do it too often because I have so many candles already from my fave small businesses, that I need to use up.😂

Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! Some of my Halloween hunting videos have really popped off, but honestly I would rather have fewer views and those views are from people who really like my channel, than thousands of views from people who will never watch again. So that means a lot! I do think the Halloween hunting portions might be less going forward anyway though because frankly I just get overwhelmed and overstimulated trying to record everything and it makes it less fun for me to do. Hoping to find a happy medium.🤞
I think I'd personally burn the candle outside for several hours, pour the wax out, trim the wick and repeat. I'd be worried about compromising the spider sculpture by using one of the usual methods, but idk how 'hearty' it feels lol it could be fine
Yeah that is my concern too, because the iron part and the glass are stuck together, I don’t want to risk messing it up. I might just have to burn it down like you suggested.
Hang the necklace on your purse or backpack! A lot of people are putting charms on their bags and this is similar

It’s all from a music platform called Epidemic sound. I could list the songs I use, but it is a paid platform where you like pay for the rights to use the music in content, so I don’t if that would be useful?
