The way I’ve solved the toe press problem is by putting a layer of duct tape on the inside of the boot. Just one tiny strip is enough. Get the fabric lined duct tape, as it’s really grippy.
I mean it’s on the outside of the shell, but on the inside edge. I hope I haven’t confused you lol It just prevents the skates from slipping around when you’re trying to lock them together for a toe press
