As a teenager, I used to love to go to Taco House for the Special combination. Taco, Tostada and smothered bean burrito for $3.50. Yes, It was long ago but what a great place to take a date!
When I first got married back in 1983 I lived in the apartment complex behind the taco house off of wadsworth and Colfax. It’s still there, but we ate there almost every day because it was cheap and it was all you could eat for like $3.50. Oh those were the days lol. We recently went there again and it tasted pretty much as I remembered it.
I miss Los Pino's on 104th, always got the #6 since the late 80's until they closed. Chips and Salsa were worth it if nothing else. excellent everytime.
I remember my Grandpa taking me to the Taco House in the early 80s and we always complained the meat was green 🤣 haven't been back since. Can't believe their prices and that they are still around!
Big Daddy’s might be not be the best pizza out there but it is 10x more delicious than the national chain pizza places, and sometimes that’s all I’m looking for.
Oh yeah, Dominoe's is complete garbage and Pizza Hut has really gone downhill. It used to be so good. You know what's surprisingly not terrible? Little Caesars
That is my old neighborhood. The taco house has been there for like 30 years. I know where the pizza place is but have not tried it. It use to be were DISH network got started.
I'm surprised you rated Hibachi Grill so highly. You should have tried the sushi. While I guess you're right about the price point, I do see why it's rated worst. But, I guess it's not 100% bad. At least they've been that way consistently and haven't declined like Hiro or Sushi Tototoro. There's a new buffet coming to Potomac and Alameda. I'd like to see a review once it opens. I'd also like to know if you have a high rated sushi buffet suggestion in the Aurora area. Thanks.
Yeah, at the end of the meal, it wasn't all doom and gloom, but the beef and broccoli was terrible. I wanted to help myself by not getting the sushi though lol I'll definitely look for that new buffet and do a "Only eating at buffet's for a day" lol
"This roll looks super glossy" "Tiny little squirrel knuckles" The worst restaurant I've ever been to in my life was in Bellagio, Italy. So you'd have to go kind of far to review that one.
The hibachi place… way too many variety of things that are not done right. If u need substance to actually live, then go to that place. If u want decent hibachi then def skip it.
You really want a bad place, I used to live near this Chinese scoop place called Ho Mei, the dirtiest place I've ever seen and all the food just tastes like old oil. Probably the worst rated food establishment ever.
In your first review you already defeated the point from the start. You used the first review to mark some noteworthy complaints such as depressing decor/dirty booths. Though you said "it doesn't look bad and it's a buffet, what do you expect", keep in mind I can see how dirty the CEILING looks from your phone as your eating. We never got a good look at the booths and have to take your word for it (which makes it a you vs her/reviewer situation at best). Additionally, you went right when they open... so yeah, of course the food is going to look the best it'll look all day and of course the restaurant will look the best it can all day because it hasn't had anyone there and no time for the service teams to succeed or fail beyond just putting stuff out and turning on the lights. That taco place... yeah, you were right on. I've never been there but those are tacos that anyone could make at home EASILY. Nothing special. Sure it was cheap, but... yeah, it looked a bit reached (the building) and the food was basic and nothing special. The pizza place... nothing special again. Those wings were right on... the squishy chicken wing things from dominos (the worst wings). You can't replicate bad customer service if they give you good service, so nothing you can do there. Overall, not a bad video. However, a suggestion would be if you can get a couple other friends to order at some of these places separate as well and give their thoughts/film while giving thoughts (if possible) and then you can compare notes and what your experiences were. Additionally, that first review should be thrown out... not because you did a bad job at food review, but because logistically (as I explained above) it was pretty off the mark of what an honest test should be. I enjoy your videos. I found ya about two months ago and been following. Maybe you remember me commenting on your other platforms too. I just wanted to give you a review to help you grow. Keep up the good effort and fun work!

Taco house is actually good for people that don't eat spicy food. They need to toast the taco shells and chips to make crispy!
I always loved taco house are they still a buffet
@aaronhoward1668 I didn't see a buffet but they could have one at different hours🤷♂️
Big Daddy's at 2 am when you've been partying with your friends!

That buffet had so much food! and so many empty seats :( This isn't a joke. I hope that they feed the homeless at the end of the day
@christopherlively8477 that would be nice! Not sure what they do with all that

@@milehighfooddude I think it was a microwaved sandwich with really stringy, slimy ham but I've mostly blocked out the experience
