Nice work Dougie if you and the mrs are not out clubbing on holiday lets here what books your taking i recommend the last valley about Dien ben phu , enjoy your break marra . Regards Gav.
Ha ha my days of clubbing are over I’ve read the last valley by windrow, an excellent choice, just finished First Casualty by Toby Harnden about Qala-i Jangi in 2001 superb book😉👍
Hi, the wadi is made from craft foam on a base of 2mm mdf. I cut the foam to the shape glued it to the mdf then added ground work. The depth of the wadi I chose to give the figures an impression of cover rather than it being too deep.
You may have picked up from the videos that I’m in the process of moving home. Unfortunately all my Wargaming terrain is now in storage so I couldn’t give to exact measurements. All I did was take one of my 20mm figures and cut the doors slightly taller and an appropriate width. Hope this is helpful once I’m unpacked I can get you accurate sizes 😉
Good stuff Dougie, particularly the scratch-builds. Looking forward to the battle reports! 😉
Thanks Sam 👍
Great stuff Dougie - remember seeing this develop on the Guild back in the day. Really inspiring and evocative terrain!
Thanks mate remember the Guild fondly 😀
Some cracking terrain there- really have captured the look of the place.
Thanks Martin

Dougie. I’d be interested how you made your nice Afghan tree lines, as they look great.
Further video out this morning at 10 with the tree lines on 😉
Hi Doughie. How did you make your wadi for the terrain?

My problem with my terrain is figuring out the right dimensions. What do the doors measure on these?
