  • Yes, I love to swing heavy.
    But I also LOVE to flow!
    Both have value.
    Both hold a place in my training.
    I will never understand why certain groups are so quick to dismiss the legitimacy of movement that does not involve structure or excessive load
    In addition to the numerous physical benefits I receive from flow, I do it because it's FUN!
    It makes me feel good.
    It is expression and art.
    If you find something you love to do, you should never feel the need to defend it.

    Seems the comment is bc that person can't do flow and is protectinh their ego. It's highly skilled and more exclusionary. Lifting near a one rep max can be done by anyone. 🤷‍♂️ Also all the famous fitness guys like Arnold, Dolph Lundgren, etc had to learn much flowisness for those roles otherwise no one would hear of them.
