well great video, I am building a 2550,bought the hydro transaxle , just picked up the frame steer sector was frozen, fixed that had to cut the welded stud and drill it out of the casting ' I'm installing a 10hp diesel on this baby,.I noticed you use this mainly for tractor . I have a zero turn for cutting so this will be strickly for tractor use. I was wondering how to utilize the deck handle for some operational attachment any suggestions ?
MaxAuto Lawn Mower Tires 16X6.50-8 Front & 23X10.50-12 Rear on amazon $272.70, are these the tires you used? They look great, but are a bit bigger than stock. Do you think wheel weights will fit with these? will the 42" deck still fit? i bought a gt2542 a few months ago for $850 w/317hrs! this is what i wanna do to mine. the johnny hitch is super expensive tho, i think ill mod the craftsman with more steel and an actuator or fab from scratch. thank you for these gt25xx videos!
Those are the ones I got. No effect on using wheel weights or the 44" mower deck, they fit perfectly on the stock rims. I mowed with it a few days ago. Glad you like the videos, I'll be posting the transmission oil change coming soon. 😎
If the front tires don't drive or in other words, if it's not a 4 wheel drive, those front ag tires should be the other way around. I know it would look weird but think about how the ag tires push out the dirt to the side. The rear tires have a turning force behind them but the front tires do not.
Drinking game: Take a shot for every time I say the word" industrial" lol😅
Wow! That is one of the best looking Garden Tractors I've ever seen and done right!
Super job, Greg.
Take a shot everytime Greg says "Industrial" ☝️😁
The word of the day.🤣😂
Very nice.
Baddass AF🗿
I use exact tractor and ag tires to trail ride definitely a beast keep up with four wheelers up hill through mud deeper than tires
I tried it out in the back woods and it was pretty sweet with the ground clearance without the mower on it.
Where did you get the seat for this mower?
Stock seat that came with it.
I put new arm rests on it.

Johnny Products sells an actuator kit for any manual sleeve.
Did you have to get new rims?
Nope the stock rims work fine
where can we get the tires and what size are they??
Amazon has it.
This tractor will be a sub sub compact. 👍
That's the plan.
Where did you find those Ag tires?
There are on Amazon sold in pairs or as a set of four, just enter you tire-rim size

Interesting, might have to try out some turning and terrain tests both ways to see which works better.
My Craftsman T240 is 610 pounds with nothing on it
Ok and the 2500 series cubs are 800 lbs with nothing on them no oil gas mower deck.
