Stefan Zucker, an eccentric opera fanatic from New York, visits the opera divas of his childhood: megalomaniacs, beauties, vain, fascinating - forgotten by many but worshipped by countless opera lovers around the world. The journey from apartment to apartment, from diva to diva, from Rome via Florence, Bologna, Padua, and Bergamo to the Scala in Milan, turns into an unprecedented opera road movie.

Pobbe simply wanted to be treated with respect and professionalism which she was used to. Zucker doesn't start interview correctly and then asks ridiculous and gossipy questions that belittle her. Any professional with pride would be upset, especially after she invited him into her apartment. Ask her about her career, roles, etc...not about her regrets or love interests. Also, why would you start the film gossiping about her with some barista?

What's the problem with Mr Zucker's voice ? It's a terrible thing to say, but I can't stand it, it sort of hurts my throat ! Anyway, I think fanatism, in every field, even opera, is a very bad thing, leading to madness, self-isolation and disrespect...
It's called puberphonia it's a treatable speech condition, I wonder why he never consulted a voice therapist being a supposedly "voice fan"
