You know UnixGuy is legit when you can watch a lot of his content and he isn't shoving his course down your throats. Been subbed to him for ages, didn't even know he had a course until you made this video. Great video btw

Dr. Gerald Augers GRC mastery is $150 and i think its more in depth. Why are content creators starting at $500 for one course? As much as i dont want to think that people are taking advantage of the hot market, this is making me very skeptical of cybersecurity content creators as a whole.
Thanks for pointing that out. I like the layout and idea of UnixGuy's course, but it's not affordable for me personally. What's more - most videos with reviews I've seen are from people who participate in his affiliate program, so it's logical they won't be 100% honest but rather encourage you to buy it just so they can make a profit from it too. And while I like what UnixGuy does and I understand that it took a lot of work and time to prepare the course - now he's probably earning more from the course sales than he does from his cybersecurity job. If he offered it at half the price, maybe I'd do it. As it is, I'm going for Dr. Gerald's Mastery on TCM Security which introduces a lot of the same concepts and is more affordable, especially since I don't plan on working exclusively in GRC.
Watching your videos years ago is what got me interested in cybersecurity. Got my sec+ amongst other creds, GRC seems interesting. I did a lot of quality assurance in the military
That's awesome!! Congratz on passing your Sec+, thats a huge accomplishment 😁💯 Keep grinding, the hard work will pay off 💪 GRC is great if you're looking for non-technical, if you did QA in the past, something in Secure SDLC might be something to consider and look into, I did that in my last role, it was a great learning experience!

Thanks for the video, please can you review Gerald Augers PHD, GRD course that's what some of us can afford for now. Hopefully we can save and also get into unixguys course too. Thanks in advance.
hey there Sandra, just passed my network+ and currently working on security+ then later Pentest or Linux+. I am currently in the Army but will be transitioning ssoon to civilian life. I want to be able to negotiate 100k+ salary at my first job; if its even possible lol. In addition to my certs, what programming language should i know and projects to build with them? thanks
I finished the course in less than 2 weeks, but I also had GRC experience. I think it says in the course FAQ that its about 1 month to complete and that’s pretty accurate for someone who’s still a beginner

It's definitely an investment, but you'll get what you pay for. I'd say the biggest advantage of this course is the fact that you'll also get insights from a GRC professional with 20+ yrs of experience 👍

Can you share a free or cheaper GRC analyst course for newbies or entry level? 😊
Thanks for laying out the money and sharing what you learned.
It’s a sponsored video
im early!! I will be taking the course thanks

Will update you guys if so, thanks for the recc! 😁👍
Have you reviewed Gerald Augers Simply Cyber GRC course? I like that you reviewed this one from your experience working in the GRC.
Good to know
Glad this could be helpful!😁
Hi Sandra, I have no experience in cybersecurity and I’d love to break into it. Can I take this course and get a job with it!
How many hours a week did you have to devote to the course and how long did it take you to complete?
I finished the course in less than 2 weeks, but I also had GRC experience. I think it says in the course FAQ that its about 1 month to complete and that’s pretty accurate for someone who’s still a beginner
Hi do you think this course is enough to take isc2 cgrc exam?any thoughts?
This course has significant overlap with the material on the ISC2 CGRC, it will be a great resource to use to study 👍
How long did it take you to finish?
Nice review. Is there such a thing as entry level GRC analyst
yes :)

500$ is too much too
Sandra, has the job market got any better or still the same ... no ones seems to be hiring
I have a video coming out on a topic related to the hiring trends in the job market and what to do to differentiate yourself, #1 piece of advice is in person networking, we cant rely on cold applying to jobs anymore.
TBH I think $500 is a reasonable fee for a course once the content is set to a high standard.
Most appreciative for the investment and review...could you also do one for Gerald Auger : Definitive GRC at SimplyCyber as well please? 🤗
👀 If I do, I will keep you updated!
Good idea

Just curious. Is GRC very hard? I've seen mixed reviews. It's certainly not easy but do we have to break our brains?
