20:20: What if White plays 1.a3? Is there anything better than 1...Bxc3ch 2. Kf1 Qa5 3. Bxe4? Black gets a pawn out of it and White's King is in an awkward position but that's it. Thanks.
very well done. I have had white push e5 after black plays nf6, I am black. What is the best retort. Because I have had three games in a row that have done this, Catches me off guard. What say you
Best opening explanation of the Pirc that I've seen! Covered a lot with good examples. Looking forward to watching this again and again!
Thank you!
Thank you. I love playing the Pirc because it always creates asymmetrical positions
My pleasure! 🤓
Very nicely done.
I'm trying to learn this defense and you've helped me understand it greatly.
Great, thanks for letting me know!
You and Robert Ramirez have me loving the Pirc!
😁 thanks,
Greetings my friend!!!
Excellent explanation. Subbed and added to my list of favorite chess instructors.
Awesome, thank you!
Great lesson! A question though: In the video at 24:32, am I seeing a black pawn take a black knight?
I premoved, so, once he took, the move would be played automatically
Ah. Got it, thanks. @@michechess
Good presentation here...the puzzles at the end were useful [I got them out too!] ...well done!
Thank you so much!
A lot of thanks for making and sharing your video!!
My pleasure!!!

I don't think there is much more than that vs a3 ... 😉👍🏻
@@michechess Thanks for your prompt reply. Cheers and good luck!
Thanks, my pleasure!
Happy to help anytime
This was a good, real good.
Thanks, so glad this was helpful...
7:14 I can't find it.
I get it! Clearance move, followed by a discovered attack, picking up the lose queen on the jung square.
That's the idea, great job!
Fantastic video. Muchas gracias, Michechess!
Un placer...
My pleasure! 🤓🖐
At 18:46 why doesn't white go Rd8 threatening mate and preventing mate as well.
Vs Rd8 there is Rb5+ and Bb2+...
Then Kd2 loses the Rook on d8,
Or if Kb1 Bd4+ and again the Rook is hanging on d8
@@michechess ah ok thanks!
Anytime! 😉👍🏻
I wish you've covered the Geller System of the Pirc, which I find the most difficult to face. But overall, great video.
Thanks for the comment. I might cover it in some next video 😉👍🏻
@@michechess I'd appreciate that, Cheers.
Learnt a lot. You have taken a lot of trouble to explain tactics. It helps us improve
Great!
So glad you found value in it!
Excellent video on Pirc Defence .. thanks
My pleasure! 🤓
This was excellent
So glad this helped!
Great explanation. Thank you!
Thank you so much! 🙏

Just trade pawns, then trade queens on d1 and then play Ng4, forking white pawns on f2 and e5
is kings indian defence and pirk defence not the same thing?
KID is vs Queen's Pawn and Pirc is vs King's Pawn. Black uses the same setup in both.
Sir I need more video on pirc defence more variation
Ok, perfect. I'm thinking to cover it a little deeper. Thanks for letting me know!
There are now a couple of courses on Chessable. Some are free
Great! Good to know...
Also, I have created more Pirc content recently (and upcoming)
Love the video 💪💪💪
Great, thanks so much!
I try always the PIRC when playing black BUT mostly WHITE will push to E5 almost immediately to break the rhythym of play!
That doesn't work in move 3, since you can trade on e5, then trade on d1, and play Ng4 forking e5 and f2
What about when pawn forks the knight and pawn on e4 on the 3rd or 4th move?
Do you know the notation of the move ?
Is it e5 ?
@@michechess yes
Usually that doesn't work bc of dxe5 and Qxd1
Cool music at the enda
Thanks so much, cheers! 👊
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Very Good One
Thanks
Are there any gambit for PIRC
For White or Black?
Thanks
Welcome!
Good video
Thanks! 😉👍
Best
😉👍
some of the moves are made too fast to see even at 50% speed
Thanks for the feedback ...

Right
👍🏻
I'm here now because aimchess said I'm doing bad in pirc defense classical variation lol
😂👍🏻
As a 700, most people I play against can’t counter this.
I imagine... they don't see it very often
It's not pronounced "perk". It's "peerts".
Thanks... 😉👍🏻
BORING USELESS WASTE OF TIME
Thanks
