Agreed. I dont normally single out scenes like this but it was so well acted. Funny to read that Ryan had trouble working with her. It seems implied that her acting was bad but she was perfect.
After watching this a hundred times, Ally’s father acted like a gentleman in this scene. He could’ve easily gone into protective mode but he was calm, collected, and respected Ally’s decision making. I think it went without saying that he liked Noah and knew he truly loved Ally, but Ally’s mother made him have second thoughts.
He liked Noah, but not enough to let him marry his daughter. He did let her have her summer romance though. He thought he knew it wouldn't become more than that bc he wouldn't allow it. He just wasn't suitable. The mother was more worried than the dad because she knew it had the potential to be more than just a summer romance no matter what they as parents did. True love is a strong force.
That's actually genius, this movie is about the book that she writes for him and you can see how she and Lon (her ex) meet each other and get engaged, but we didn't saw how was the war or his father death and that's great because he wouldn't talk about that with her
@@thankunext1625 Y'all evil as hell for that! But as soon as we send that "goodnight, babe" text - *multiple private browsers open. Door LOCKED. Lights OFF!* 🤣🤣🤣
Rarely agreeing on anything but just having passion is overrated lol and the hitting! HUGE red flags. So many ppl say they want a relationship like this but it’s almost like everyone forgets they were supposed to be teenagers at this point 😂 and it shows, in their immature ways of handling relationship troubles. Although I think the characters were written to truly be in love, I much prefer their love when they grow up, mature and actually learn to value each other and understand love takes sacrifices and true understanding of ones partner. That grown kind of love is the best :) passion can be had with just anyone
I always wanted the the journey of the relationship in the notebook. In the beginning when we're teens, we're passionate, hotheaded, and a lil toxic over petty things. But as we grow up together, we learn to communicate and love together and become each other's irreplaceable match
that’s kinda the point of the scene. to show that they were in a young love. immature and unknowing. but despite all their fights, young and old, they still made their way back to each other.
People dream of this bit dont cherish what they have just like it.. to some women romance lowers the mans value .. and then they go looking for assholes prefrebly with money so they can say look what i got not what i lost
@@oopsiedaisy3976 not nessiarily there lots of narcissts that a fantasist and have a role for their victims just like this ..until they realise no one can live up to such expectations we'll they dobt realise they just discard and do it all again lol.. so its not just teenagers maybe immotionlly immature people
Finally!!! Do you know how long I've been looking for this exact scene? But anytime you type in "Noah Allie Fight" you get the break up scene and the "What do you want" scene. Thank you!
i like the fight scene from the notebook. me and my bf are like them. we fought because i was betraying another guy i like for three years for my bf. my bf is older than me. twenty seven years older than me.
I had a love like this once I was 15 he was 17. He taught me to drive .... this was our movie. After summer 2009 we broke up and his dad died as well. Im going back to my hometown where he currently lives at (where we met) in a couple months I'm so nervous. Its been 10 years since the last time I saw him.
Seeing Allie having a great time in the beginning reminds me of how Lon only took her out in terms of upper class establishments and not fun hangouts like Noah did.
That is not healthy. Passion fades. Love is a verb. It's action, effort.. Not just feelings. Tho I love this movie for what it is... it's insane that people actually base their relationship goals off this movie/book.
I know every single word & line to this entire movie the notebook will always & forever be my #1 favorite movie ever I will never ever get enough 💙💚💖♥️
Me and y boyfriend are like them and people constantly judge us because we are only 16 and 17 (almost 18) so we are to young to know what love is. But I swear to god. He's the sweetest guy in the world and he loves me more than anything and shows me every second. He never gets mad at me and hes so patient. There are still good guys out there. I promise. Just wait. Your Noah is coming.
But despite their differences they had one important thing in common-they were sexually attracted enough to each other to put up with the perpetual instability that defined their relationship.
That means commitment is included with the sexual attraction. Which is sorely lacking today. There's no such thing as perfect and if you think your parents or older longer lasting couples didn't have their life changing arguments and struggles then your sorely mistaken. They fought and she moved on and he still built her the house.
i think that this kind of love is real. But today in this generation and society people would most likely be annoyed by it and judge them. But i really like it:)
Of course you like it. The movie has a happy ending. The reality of this "i'll kill myself if you don't go out with me" kind of love doesn't actually last very long, and if it does then it becomes abusive. It's easy to catch feelings, it's harder to maintain a good relationship
society mostly judges it because its actually extremely unhealthy and toxic to have that type of relationship in real life. This romanticized version shown in the movie is not how this exact relationship model actually works irl.
I am seriously worried by all the people in the comments saying they want a romance like this. I hate to rain on everyone's parade, and I love a good romance as much as anyone else, but this is NOT a healthy relationship. You should NOT marry someone you rarely agree with, and fight with all the time, because of physical passion. In real life, that's not the key to wedded bliss; that's the key to divorce when the raw attraction fades away. A lasting partnership is about more than steamy makeout sessions.
I want a love like these (: for me and him to have our differences but have one thing in common: We were crazy for each other -3 I want that type of love! (:
