Please do not give areas away. The poaching scum and killer game keepers will soon turn up.

Good to see these amazing creatures doing well. Shame theres still a braindead minority who persecute them. Surely its time to enforce proper penalties for those involved in harming them and other protected wildlife

Sadly, ALL wiped out, as was the case with the peregrine too, last season in the Forest of Bowland, Lancashire. That is despite the RSPB watching over any that might have been seen.

The RSPB's failure to look after hen harriers is particularly telling. Last September, The Mail on Sunday pointed out that, despite the RSPB having been in charge of seven of England's 12 hen harrier nests in 2015, it managed to successfully protect just one of the 18 chicks that fledged.

Difficult to protect them from guns and poison once they have fledged!

Are you saying that the RSPB isn`t focused on protecting these birds? And if so, who are they failing to protect them from??

Why are you so blind you cant see the woods for the trees wake up and smell the coffee nobody should have to look after Harriers let nature take care of itself. Oh and please enlighten me how did the Harriers fail i have no doubt there were men in camo gear looking after them if you get what i mean. On a driven grouse moor none will survive, now you tell me why that is. ..................
