Proper sleeper, the thrill in this car is something else
M112 v6 and M113 v8 were the best engines Mercedes/AMG ever developed and w203 got them both :)
Aside from rust there isnt a better c-class
Great cars, had to sell mine due to relocating but really miss it. Remember following an M140i as a dual carriageway opened up from 50mph and there was nothing in it up to about 110... My car had 140k miles on too and as far as I know it was completely standard.
They were known for putting out more than the quoted 354ps from new, and I can believe that with how well mine went.
Fuel economy aside it was such a comfy and refund cruiser too, and pretty compact compared to a lot of modern stuff.

Back in the day this c32 used to give Ferrari 360 Modena hard time / beat it lol
I had same car with 1.8 supercharger kompressor, that thing was super comfy, fast and so much fun on roundabouts in wet conditions 🙌🏼 Mercedes is the number one for comfort and class

😁 I have the C320 (20years old with only 45360!!!) with a bunch of things done to it - ECU & TCU tune, throttle body from M113, Exhaust system, H&R Sport Cup Kit. Drives great, pulls fast and always gives me a smile but I would love the C32 AMG - that or the C55 AMG. Love this generation of C Class. Great video.

You will like the C55...a lot. Effortless on the highway. Wish top gear was a little taller, it feels like sprint gearing.
How much did all that run? And ever thought bout supercharging?

Nice to see you have done another vid, are you going to put a 64mm pulley and SL55 or Needwings intake and a tune? I have two 2003 C32, one with VRP headers, Needwings intake and 64mm clutch pulley and killer chiller heat exchanger. With you being in the North west of England it doesn’t get all that hot in the summer but separating the SC coolant from the main expansion tank will make a big difference and a 64mm pulley would give you way more boost.

@@jjulanicars what part of the UK are you located? I am from Leeds. Left England 27yrs ago and have lived in the US 25of the 27yrs . I had to work on my project C32 I call Opal, the check valve on the fuel rail was leaking, messed it up the first time around and put the retaining clip in the wrong way and found the new check valve would leak at full throttle. After correcting the clip I had issues with injector 1 and 4 electrical issue. Ended up replacing injector 4 and resolving 1. Then did a throttle calibration with my ODBII which reset everything to factory.
I’ve got the quaife atb hellical lsd on mine get it. It’s worth it

Someone selling one for 1300$ runs and drives with 130k miles but has electrical issues
Yeah it’s not a 20k c63 that gets 0-60 in 4 seconds it’s a c32 that gets 0-60 in 5 seconds that costs a quarter of the price of a c63 and if the the c63 owner is a poseur that doesn’t actually know his mercs you’ll have him in tears for a quarter of the money 🤷🏻♂️
