Hi Ruari, thank you for your graet documentaries, especially the one about the bodhran. Many memories for me from the time when I traveled to Ireland with my parents in the seventies and with my musician friends in the eighties. We we were deep into Irish Folk back then and I was mesmerized by the bodhran sound listening to the Chieftains, Planxty in other bands. Never managed to buy one, nobody could tell me who made them.
Now after many years of playing rock, blues, funk, soul, country and other genres as a singer, bass player and guitarist I came back into folk two years ago with guitar, banjo, mandolin and zouk. And finally I have bought a bodhran last week.

Loved the livestream, and yes documentary are great.. wonderful to see all the bodhrán makers! Brendan White is such a character 😁
and as for players...though they are all brilliant, Rónan is amazing, he seems to be the groove he plays...✊✊
