These preset creations with your detailed commentaries have taught me so much about how to edit & what choices to make for musical purposes, all backed up with a real musician's experience. It's made my HX much more useable for me.
Agreed. Got my Stomp in the mail on Saturday and this was a nice little jumpstart to understanding what I'm doing rather than just twiddling knobs. Thanks for teaching us to fish
If it were emulation of a specific dumble, RF's #102, I would want to use it. #102 clean captures iconic jazz tones with an es335. RF must have still been debating between playing jazz or blues when he ordered #102 and described what he wanted Dumble to build.
It’s my go to for American sounds, it does a great Robben Ford, and I have found it can swing to Allen Hinds Redplate Blackline sounds also. Interestingly I find the built in cabs work best with these types of Amps. But if I’m after the Marshall sound then I’ll tend toward a good external IR.
Could you do the same for their Caralyst? I very much like the clean and crunch tones you demoed and am looking for best other classic amp voices, much more than delay/fuzz/reverb.
I ADORE the Litigator! I actually prefer it to the Cali Texas for chasing Andy Timmonsish tones; for some reason I always find the Cali Texas way too boomy.
What model of Sire guitar are you using, Johnathan? It's really beautiful! Have been watching every episode you produce speically on the in depth explanation of each item in pod go's system!! Thank you so much!
Hi John, You made a video about “dumblish” tones with the pod go … said to find presets in your pod go files… where would we find these lies ? Regards, Sean ,South Africa
Saludos.
@@johnnathancordy can the litigator give a clean tone like two rock coral? Litigator sounds like a overdrive channel, playing with 0 gain and single coils, I think that solution is drop down the guitar volume. I'm using sl2h with split coil, but can't with litigator. (Hope U understand).
Dude... I kept wondering what was off. Maybe you got a weird haircut or a spraytan or something... then I realized.. the first guitar wasn't a strat. Yeah, that was it.

The litigator is phenomenal. The folks at line 6 really nailed everything about it, from clean to mean.
Is It Better clean or distorti sound in hx!?😅
This and the Archon amp on the HX are my favorite clean sounds. Headroom and body for DAYS.
Man the change at about 0:50 is so badass John, this one was special for a lot of reasons.
Cheers Mike!!
This is a really excellent format for us plebs to get to grips with amps. Great job 🙏
I remember a while back one of your earlier videos showed off the preamp. I’ve used it since. Thanks for all your hard work John
My go-to for John Mayer sounds, especially with a fender cab IR
as usual great tones John! and...congratzzz with your happy marriage!
EXTREMELY USEFUL VIDEO, THANK YOU JOHN
I love that you change between LP and ST type of guitar. Nice!

My favourite amp in helix!
Although i agree the litigator is pretty good, your very nice playing really upsells it by alot
This is absolutely amazing!!!

I always run 2 cabs with this amp, the stock cab and a 2rock cab IR.
That goldtop looks sweet. The strat too, nice color.
I need to review this one :) for me its the clean channel on SLO... Love it!

and also on the episode where you taught about bursting into fast notes. that's really helpful!
It’s the Larry Carlton L7 goldtop.

My favorite amp, great vid! What’s your theory on adjusting the main output volume (volume knob)? Especially for tone vs noise ratio?
Awesome video thanks for sharing. Are you using two 1x12 Cali EXTs?
Is this "Dumble" patch pasted to the folder?
What's the better option for a singing tone: more gain or Nux Steel Singer in the effects loop between compressor and clean setting as shown here?
HI! What brand is that LP style guitar you are playing? Looks nice!
Is the Litigator on the Pod Go the same as the one for the Stomp and Helix?
Love your playing btw...
Yes it's identical!
Cool, I haven't checked it out yet
So nice
Not seeing this preset in any of the folders I purchased. :(
Give me a chance Kaleb, I'll just drop it in a sec
@@johnnathancordy oh my bad man! Just purchased these yesterday. Didn’t know you would be updating them! That’s sick!
That there Goldilocks looking Les Paul thingy ??
Why do you never turn the hum down on the amp models? It's normally the first thing I do. I'd be interested if there's a reason for that.
Do you mean the noise gate or hum on the amp?
@@lukather1 The hum parameter on the amp model.
Wtf man I've been struggling with it for so long and now you come up with saying that there's just a control to turn it down??
How stupid am I? 😂
It's actually the ripple on the litigator that creates the hum if you're looking to avoid that!
I’m curious to see if he replaces his Helix with the FM9 now that he’s had a taste.
Pretty sure he’s already talked about this a few times in recent videos.
Huh? Steve, I've had the Fm3 for over a year and the Axe FX 3 too...
@@johnnathancordy The FAS fellers are relentless...
i dont understand. there are two cabs? why only one cab block?
Dual cab
Block?
