Malone is an underrated coach , guy has so much experience in his life from early on his dad was an nba coach , he’s seen everything, and knows the wolves built their team to beat the nuggets , his adjustments are sometimes slow but once he figures a team out it’s over
His Dad was a coach for the Pistons during the "Bad Boys" era. If anyone can figure out a way to defeat the new "bad boys", it's Malone.

This is nugs at full power. Embarassing they quit so early last couple games but that speaks about their mentality not their talent and too many people assumed that meant this wolves team was just too talented.
It was weak when jamal blamed the whistle last game, its weak now when wolves blame the whistle. You got 4 periods to stamp them out. No ref can win the game for you.
If the whistle is tight play tight, if its loose get aggressive. Its on the players. Ant still looks amazing though.

The series was always interesting. It’s just that people these days live in 24-hour realities and have no sense of anything except what has happened in the past day or so.
Twolves fan here. We have to stay humble guys, No more wolves in 5 talk. No more talk at all. Lets jist see what happens and hope for the best.

One thing I learned about the Nugs is that if Jokic is 30plus that game, chances are they're playing bad as a whole.
If jokic was scoring 20-25pts, you know the team is playing well because everybody is eating

That's series was tied 1-1 at first, but they are 0-11 in the playoffs when trailing 0-2. They haven't came back when starting a series 0-2 , look it up.

That's all time. You should look for stats regarding this current core. The 3 series they lost since and including the bubble were agaisnt teams that were highly favored, and in the last two they were riddled with injuries. This is the first time they go down 0-2 when favorites, so it's uncharted territory, really.

I was shocked how badly they got beat in the first two games. I did not want to see such a great team get crucified. Glad to see they fought back. They're probably the better team ultimately which is why it was so insane how Timberwolves killed them.
They played pretty close in the regular season. Nuggets are the champs though so they have the edge honestly. But wolves are talented and young so they have flaws but we'll see what happens in game 4. I think it will be close

I think Denver would have won anyways, but I also feel like they called more fouls early on the wolves aggressive defense and kind of discouraged them, which was the opposite game 2.
Better than game 2. Game 2 was unwatchable. Tuned in to watch a good game regardless of who won and just saw the wolves assaulting the nuggets.

They got so lucky in game 1 and 2 tho. Ofc ut will even out on a larger time span… u cant just get overly lucky every game and expect it to go like that every game

The NBA playoffs are great this year. There are many good teams and close games. It is very competitive. When Jamal Murray plays well the Nuggets are hard to beat. If Murray can get around screens then the Nuggets offense clicks.
The Wolves had won 6 straight games (4 suns 2 Nuggs). People really thought they were gonna run off 8 straight??? Unless Nuggs snatch gm 4, Wolves are still the fav. You have to believe they'll make shots next game, unlike the gm 3.

Yeah they were cold. What really happened was that 3 day rest and Gobert coming back from a week's rest. Wolves had all that momentum and it went away during that break and they were punched in the mouth Friday night. They'll come back strong Sunday. Ant took the blame and he wants to make up for it. He will be aggressive, him and Kat for sure because it's mother's day. Both of their mother's passed away.
I was hoping for a sweep of course. But the fact this is heating up is exciting for if the wolves win this series no one can say the nuggets were just washed. Cause they clearly are bringing the heat
denvers offence really showered out here but thats not without saying wolves struggled this game hitting anything and turning over the ball alot...wolves were missing alot of prime buckets and murray was a laser this game. It will be amazing to see the enxt few games with both teams going bucket for bucket!

Idk what happened, but all of a sudden our defense wasn't nearly as intense as the first 2 games. Everything that worked to slow the Nuggets down just went out the window for some reason

Yeah the refs don't have any balance this year. Calling games one way , and then the next game calling them close like man be consistent! Like it takes the fun outta watching the game because man the wolves made defense look fun in game 2, but yesterday it just looked so bad. I hate Brothers to as a ref. Refs set the tone and took Minnesotas physicality away from them. All while they’ve let the nuggets play as physical as they please the past couple years. Pushing the back on every layup, pushing on every rebound, charges(watched AG throw his off arm and shoulder for 5 games vs the lakers, same with jokic and Murray) travels because jokic travels 7/10 times he does the dumb ass little pivot spin

I think going from 2 down and a 26 point loss at home to a 27 point win on the road is pretty interesting. Even if the Wolves win the rest of the games, they will probably be close games
Wolves will win game 4 there’s no doubt, the defense will show up in game 4, wolves defense is number one .

Their defense is number 1, but their offense for the entire season has been below average. That's been a big factor in why they've looked amazing so far, they've been incredibly hot across the board, but if that's finally coming back down to earth, they're in big trouble.
The problem is that the Nuggets's defense is almost as good as the Wolves' defense, but their offense is leaps and bounds better than Minny's. Minny has been overachieving on offense these playoffs, and they're bound to drop back to the mean some time soon - in the same light, the Nuggets had been underachieving on both sides so far, so the trend goes the other way for them. Minny might still win the series, but Denver won't go out without a fight.
Either way, may the best team win.

So as we’ve seen the entire Denver run. Suddenly everything for the other team becomes a foul and now the best defenders on the team will be in constant foul trouble. Whilst Denver can hug you on every pick and roll you run and hand check the entire time
