Graham it appears to be complicated, however once understanding the equation, intercept, slope and everything flows very easily. I have used this to generate demand and supply curve for equilibrium price and if there was any shift in the curve to determine the new equilibrium price and quantity. Thanks.
I don't get the same results as you. I'm using Office 365. When I (right click) control click the graph (I'm on a Mac) The only options I get are to alt text, cut, copy. But I do notince there is a "select data" in the tool bar, but when I click it, it only offers one field. "Select chart range" Which is pretty much useless to me since I am trying to graph two curves in one graph. I get no add option, or anything. Specifically I have a group of scattered points in one curve(not a function, just a bunch of points) and I want to add a function of a line to the graph. Your video would be a great tutrorial if the current version Excel on Office 365 actually did what yours does. But I guess they have made it crappier now or something, cuz my options seem a lot more limited

still learning...i would love to reach where Madaiah is!!!
thx a lot dudeeee
Glad it helped
For starters, your second row y2 computed incorrectly! Trying adding them up!
+Vince Thomas The equation is y=-2x+4 so for x=4, y = -8+4 = -4. Or is there something else?
Thank you for clearing that up. My apologies, I didn't see the negative in front of the 2.
