I caught 2 -19" 2-17" 2-15.5" Cutthroat. 17", 14", 11" Trout. On Power Bait & Power eggs. They were not biting so I put a piece of worm with the power bait and wham fish on.
Love your videos I’ve been a couple of times this fall and it is really starting come together. I have learned a lot by watching you videos. One question. Do you tip paddle tails and grubs with bait as well? Trying to start with them. Thanks
Hey Greg!! Glad it’s coming together!! I do like to tip the paddle tails and grubs. The piece I use is usually the very end piece above the tail, otherwise the lure will roll and not swim correctly.
@@troutcatchingjedi81 sounds like we should plan a trip! We go 2-3 times a yr. We should connect on the berry sometime in the next little bit and talk it over
@@ryanblaney1454 I’d love that!! The best way to get ahold of me is my instagram-shoot me a message and we can see if we can find a time that would work!!💪🏼
They are a little hard to come by-the state is doing better at controlling the populations in a lot of the reservoirs. They can be caught pretty easily with nightcrawlers under a bobber. If you’re not able to find any-sucker meat (carp) would be my second choice.
@@greggjohnson5458 it takes a little bit of practice and patience. I had several unsuccessful trips before I even had a bite. Keep after it-the fish are loaded near the shore this time of year all around the lake. With the water turning over, I’d say give it another week. Haws should be great!
Nice trip, guys. Troy is good company.
Yessir he sure is. I didn’t know you had fished with him-now we need to get all 3 of us together one of these days!!💯
Great session guys!
Thank you Stacy!! We are getting to that good time of year for sure!!!🔥🔥🔥
Awesome video as always

Thanks again as always for your answers
Hey man, nice catches. I am going to Strawberry tomorrow and I probably shouldn't ask this but, where were you at? Chicken creek?
That’s some cool fish footage! Slaying as always. You guys ever hit Powell for bass??
I’ve been to Powell exactly one time in my life. I’d love to make it down there-it’s just finding the time!

Awesome! How/where do you catch chubs?

I used your technique at Haws Point today no such luck. Power bait caught everything. Where can I fish to make your technique work for me?

Thats awsome! and what is the meat you using for the chub meat, the shrimp?????
So it’s just cut bait-frozen chub. It is a bit tricky to buy-I’d recommend trying to catch em yourself. Sucker meat works as a substitute!
