He absolutely can testify, the gag order only prevents him from threatening jurors and court personnel and their families. Only a "we tall did" person like Trump would think that means he can't testify. Unless his testimony contains threats to the jurors, court personnel, witness, and the families there of, then he absolutely can testify. Considering his testimony only consists of his actions pertinent to his case, there would be no mention of jurors, court personnel, and their families due to them not being involved whatsoever in the crimes he's accused of committing. And therefore he can testify. But he knows his supporters believe whatever hair brained thoughts that he forms into incoherent ramblings for them instead of reality. That's why the judge forced him to acknowledge that he understands he can testify, and clarified the terms of the gag order slowly enough for Trump to understand them. Yet it doesn't deter him from lying to his "minrons"(moronic minions).
At this point you have to have little to no brain activity if you think Trump is innocent and an honest man, and sadly a little over 30% of the US population displays this lack of healthy brain function so much so that they truly believe this con artist cares about them or America at all. He cares how he can take whatever he can from both, that's as deep as his thoughts run. Grift grift grift all the live long day, and when he's tired, he grifts some more. He gets his rest in the "ice box" courtroom 😂
