Hi Alan. Good video and nice to see that despite the little hiccup with one of the buffer beam lights, you managed to sort it out so that everything was working ok again. Keep up the good work. Your doing really well with the wiring and it is great to see the progress that you are making. Take care, Mark.
Bonjour Alan, Nice to see you in good shape ! Interesting how you make ground signals and buffer stops with led's. And the staying yard under your town to park 3 trains is a splendid idea and allows for a lot of flexibility of running different trains. I think we need to give you a new name: Sir lectric Wizard ! Well done my friend... and I'm inspired !! I've been busy making Semaphore Signals from a Ratio kit 477 and adapting them for 'Florimont' Station. Also installed some diy led lamp posts at the car ferry. I'll send some pics by email. Take good care & all the best. Filip
Hi Filip. I trust you are well my good friend. Yes I an getting on with the wiring, I have a big task ahead with getting both ends of the station's relays to work with each other, then I will be able to route trains on both levels, which will be a learning curve in it's self ! The UK is going into Autumn and slowly cooling down so I shall be spending more time on the hobby. Take good care and speak soon. Regards Alan in the loft :o)
Great progress Al and the new LED stuff is neat. Just a thought for when you're adding a second train to an invisible line that already has one on - how do you know that the rear of the train is clear of the second isolated section? Maybe you could add a disguised 'window' into the wall below the town, so that you (or other operators) can see that it's clear, to reduce the possibility of rear-end shunts? Cheers. Mike
Hi Mike, As long as my signalling and the length of the train is set all should be fine mate. When all wiring is finished, I will be learning what and how to control the whole thing which will be fun. Regards Alan in the loft :o)
Hi Alan. I worked 20 years in electronics. Ersin Flux cored solder is the only thing I'd ever use for hand soldering. Also Don't use lead free solder it's crap.
Hello Alan, Your making great strides under the town area, I was rather interested in the solder you bought, its hard to find a really good solder that will flow well without having to use extreme heat, not good on electronic parts, the modern solder is in many cases, a load of crap..! Sorry for the language Alan, I love the environment as much as the next man but all this environmental bull with solders on the market today is going into the relms of complete rediculousness, your ground signals work a treat..! Maurice out.!
Great video Alan. Good progress being made. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing. Roy.
Hi Roy. Yes mate, I'm getting there slowly. More to follow. Regards Alan :o)
Love the buffers and ground lights you’ve done. Sounds windy up there in the loft. Take care.
Hi Anthony. It has been very windy up the Dover straights today. Regards and Thanks. Alan :o)
Another lovely video; very enjoyable
Glad you enjoyed it Robert :o)
You show how to make things rather than buy things. Its good and inspiring.. :) Sometimes you don't need accurately scaled things.
Hi Jinty. Yes, I also like a challenge too. Regards Alan in the loft :o)
Hi Alan.
Like the buffer stops look the part. Glad the car transporter didn't give you grief this time.
Keep safe.

Hi Peter. Yes I'm getting there, more to follow soon. Regards Alan in the loft :o)
Crikey Alan, that is one complex layout. Respect
Yes Mate. DC magic :o)
Coming along nicely Alan.
Hi Alan
Good work on the ground signals and buffer stops they look very good in place.
CheersKev
Many thanks Kev :o)

Yes a bit more done Mark. I have the big task ahead, getting both ends of the stations relays to work togeth. Phew. Regards Alan :o)
I'm sure that you will be able to figure it out Alan and get there 👍

Looking good...me and you both and soldering not my best skill still we persevere
Hi Peter. I have found some nice solder which with make soldering a joy. Regards Alan :o)
Wow, that is and continues to be some extensive wiring and well explained, too! Cheers and best wishes... hoping it all goes well.
Fingers crossed ! I will get there with full control DC too. :o) Regards Al :o)
Great Job Alan really impressive my friend
Hi Digger. Lots more to do mate, but getting there slowly Sir. Regards Alan :o)
Good progress. Looks like you bought your phosphor bronze strip from the same eBay seller I recently used for similar wire!
Mig ultra glue acrylic,
Too wet when new , leave top half on for a couple of nights to achieve a thick spot , this drys quick
Hi Alan, watching in Rio 👍
You lucky man. Regards Al :o)

Hi Gary. You are correct mate. Tried leadfree and struggled, using Ersin is the best as you say, nice clean shiny joints, Regards Alan :o)
