      Do u know the regs about selling Malay bikes in Vietnam, Laos or Cambodia?

    • @SmallBikeStuff
      @SmallBikeStuff  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@willnewton3002 basically a waste of time even trying unless you want to give it away for free and the receiver knows they’ll have a bike they can’t realistically use long term. Hence why we started and finished in Malaysia. Doesn’t have to be in Kuala Lumpur though. I will definitely elaborate on this in the Q&A because there is a lot to be said about it.

      was it easy to sell the bike away in d end of the trip? i heard bike rental not worth it cos when we go into accident... the rental company will squeeze alot fine on the person who rent it.

      Callum, Looking forward to the series. You mentioned that you were looking for some questions to answer in a Q&A session. It is difficult to ask them now as you may well deal with them during the series, but here goes with a few.
      1 - Can you please go go into the paperwork etc needed to take your bike across the border?
      2 - How often did you stop riding for a stretch, hydration regain your concentration etc? (I am a 62 year old on blood pressure medicine and 60 to 90 minutes is about time for a break for me)
      3 - What did you find the best time to book your accommodation The night before, in the morning, lunchtime or when you arrived?
      4 - Did you find much option between riding on the highways or the B roads?
      5 - Did you find that Malaysia has good “hard shoulders” for bikes to rid on?
      6 - Do you feel that (aside from cost) touring on a manual bike has any advantages or disadvantages to riding on an automatic bike?
      7 - How did you find the change in temperature as you rode up into the mountains?
      I hope that at least some of these questions may be of interest to you. My wife and I both have a Honda PCX each and we live and ride around Chiang Mai. Looking forward to the series and we enjoy the channel.
      Keep up the good work

      The reason we bought is because it’s much easier to ride long distance and much easier to cross the border. Rental bikes need extra paper work and it can be difficult to get it. Plus most companies won’t let their bikes leave the city.

    How many bikes did you buy in total. 5 or 6?

    • @SmallBikeStuff
      @SmallBikeStuff  29 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      We bought 5. Our Malaysian friend already had his Honda monkey for a few years now.

      Thanks for asking. I caught up with Neal last weekend. He’s back on two feet now and slowly riding bikes again. Still got some recovery time ahead.

    Was it easy to get into Thailand with a Malaysian bike as foreigners?

    • @SmallBikeStuff
      @SmallBikeStuff  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Very easy IF the bike is legally in your name. You just need to get Thai insurance on the Malaysian side of the border.

      I talked about that topic for almost an hour in this video: th-cam.com/video/9xDz7R_UL98/w-d-xo.html
      But incase you don’t want to watch it, essentially the answer is ‘Why not?’

    dang this video, youtube place around4 to 5ads into your video. that means u will earn alot income from that youtube ads fee. congrats bro

      TH-cam doesn’t let us control how many ads it puts anymore. The feature was removed. If you want to watch without ads the premiere of each video shows the whole thing without interruptions

      135LC's would have been so cool. Sadly we didn't find any in part 1 worth buying.
