I have never seen a video of him eating the burgers. Are you familiar with McDonalds breakfast? These are not massive meals, we are talking about an english muffin with an egg and one sausage pattie.

      Maybe it’s a small part of his diet. Besides that, genetics play a very important role in how you adapt to unhealthy foods and how much they harm you.

      I kinda like Ray Dalio but also kinda not. His macro economic explanations generally make sense but his conclusions and predictions aren't really backed up by him enough for me that I don't exclude the possibility that the exact opposite of what he says could happen too

      @Don ; They are too general, I gave praise to these three channels because they talk about personal finance, not economics, and if in America 40% of it’s citizens can’t cover a sudden 400$ expense debt free, I think personal finances are more important than economics at the moment for the public.
      Edit: numbers mentioned are from the pre-covid days.

      If you care about your money, you shouldn't listen to TFD. The girl has no economic or financial education, she's a mess with money (she wrote that an engagement ring is an investment, had a budget of 7k and at the end she paid 10k) and her advice is vague. Be careful.

    Love the content keep it up! I do have a question though. I watch a lot of Dave Ramsey and Chris Hogan on TH-cam and they both have the "Baby Steps" of getting out of debt as well as some guidelines for investing. However, because they're American they talk about a number of investment options available on there and not here in Canada. I was wondering if you could maybe discuss what you think a healthy Canadian portfolio should look like and some everyday investing tips and tools available to Canadians. Thanks, Richard. Apologies if you've already discussed this, I'm still working through your videos.

    Thanks for all the vids man, keep it up. Wish you can do a market cap video please? Like If the price of the shares trading in public grows, the money doesn’t goes into the company, then why their market cap grows? Is it accurate to value a company just by that?

      Market cap is strictly a valuation measurement, it doesn't measure the money that's gone to the company bust rather what investors are willing to trade for its shares. Even though the money isn't going to the company, because investors are buying and selling at a higher price it demonstrates that they are willing to pay more for a share of the company. Hope that clears things up!

    Almost no one is. He gives good advice. He has used it to make himself rich so he is an example that it works. This is just good. He’s not a bad person or anything from what I’ve seen. I don’t think people are obsessed...

    Never lose money. Really great advice to people who drink starbucks, smoke, drive expensive cars and go out to eat 3x per week, but have no savings. Living a little frugal keeps you humble, and if you listen to this guy, can make you rich.

    I kinda feel like at least in the shorter term now his strategy doesn't work out with the current loose monetary policies giving a lot of securities artificially high value. Also a lot of tech companies are making big money now but wouldn't have been on his radar by following his strategy of basically already requiring being profitable.
    What I mean is underlined by what people have surpassed him in his wealth

      He has not! That's a good point of clarification - while he has made large donations he is only giving the 99% away upon death.

Buffet wrote a letter to her then disowning her for speaking in the documentary, in which she revealed nothing common sense wouldn’t tell you.

    I have a lot of time for Warren Buffett and I really enjoy your no nonsense approach in your channel. The only thing I wish to highlight is that there is more to the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation (and more specifically Bill himself) than meets the eye.
    I’d recommend anyone research it thoroughly like they would a potential stock pick or investigative journalist - the outcomes might very well surprise you.

      Not really. He takes most of his pay in shares, and you only pay taxes on those when you sell. Combine that with years of share buybacks and he racks up an impressive fortune on paper. The only reason he isn't the richest man in the world is because he donates much of his fortune to charity.

      I suspect he's been paid by that corporation or in some other way he's involved with it and that's the reason why he publicly endorses it.
