The craftmen's skill, time, effort & soul which put into making such items give them their own values, thus also give them their own price... Mass production item were less valued items which made by machinaries, for quantity over quality.
My school is near this workshop. But it's really expensive. We once commissioned a big mirror and it cost around $10000 (a million rupees). But it was worth it.
The state government of Kerala should promote this craftsmanship, this craftsmanship is now only practiced by few families, Kerala is truly a gem of India 🇮🇳🙏
