It's good to have Gandalf's company as I write my dissertation. This is about what my desk looks like at the moment. Just wish I had what he's smoking.
I wrote more than half my thesis while smoking. I even bought a long-stemmed pipe like Gandalf's to do so. Finished in time, it was accepted, and I graduated. My love for the halfling's leaf had clearly enhanced my mind...lol
Well done on this! The movement of the smoke and candle light is subtle and immersive. The music is blended seamlessly, as usual! 😃 I notice the ambient noises are missing from this ‘Gandalf’ video (no sounds of fire burning, mice scurrying, or rustling parchment). I think it’s good to have both versions! One with the ambient noises, and one without! I like both.

The markings upon the band begin to fade. The writing, which at first was as clear as red flame, has all but disappeared. A secret now that only fire can tell.
