This includes the police using them on civilians, are you okay with that? The number of actual kids, high school and below that are not in gang related situations is less than 20 per year. Swimming pools kill way more, distracted driving kills way more, abortion kills more than all those out together. If the “assault weapons” were never invented, there are shot guns(which do more damage), pistols(which are easily concealed and account for the majority of lives lost, not to mention 90% of all inner city shootings) lever action rifles and single shot guns. More lives are saved because of the 2nd amendment, period.

Manufacturing jobs being shipped overseas has nothing to do with constitution that's more of an issue of policy. The US Constitution is the foundational and fundamental law of the US. The point of it is to outline the role of government, what it's limits are and what are the individual liberties(Rights) of the citizenry.
