My hatred for humankind, the distrust, the paranoia, the thinking that "they" are out to get "us" has finally passed for me - I don't waste my time on those kind of negative thoughts anymore. I got older and wiser. Life is too precious for that kind of thinking to fill my consciousness. It's all in your head. Life is what you make it.
Exactly, it's 'all' in our heads/consciousness/cosmos/simulation/dream :-) Take your pick, if you think it is in 'your' head then that'll work for you. If someone thinks it's all a program in a simulation then that will work for them. If we think our consciousness is a fractal of the simulation or mind of God then that would work also. Take your pick. I'm sure we are destined never to find out to be fair.

I'm a "younger guy" and I can tell you that we are just as dehumanized by technology, but most of us havent realised this is why we feel bad all the time. Because we dont know any different.

In regards to the vaccine, I ended up in Epsom hospital after I had AstraZeneca administered at brick fields in Plymouth, Loss of eyesight, unable to walk, Change in Mental state (felt like a brain implant) and I was not me, panic attacks. Worst experience of my life. I wish I never had it. And needless to say, I never bloody went back for the 2nd !! Im lucky to be here. Im back to myself now thank god !!

Its funny because, at least at my market, right at the self checkout, they have a worker standing right there anyway. I guess to make sure Noone strals anything. Buy it begs the question. Why self checkout if you still paying an employee to stand 3 inches away at all times.

They are usually standing there to assist the numpty who can't operate the computer aren't they? Plus the computers are very often in error.

Hey dear Aaron..glad to see you keeping active. I will disagree with "younger generation being dehumanized." We all are connected through the heart. One way or another we will all reconnect. No question in my heart about it. But it will not happen through being mean and unkind to one another. This provokes the fragile ego and doesnt awake the heart.
Why dont you visit bulgaria and fix your tooth/teeth. Its probably cheaper here and our dentists are very advanced .😊

Do you think trying to become the best version of your self is good think or a waste of time and instead we should do what we love to do?
And alan watts also said that you cant improve yourself you only can learn a skill. What do you think of that?
People say lots of things. Rely on your own subjective experience as to what you want to belief in. Watts may have genuinely believed what he said but many would disagree. At the end of the day...learning something can very often be considered as improving ourselves in any realm. For instance...I practice guitar and I'm improving all the time as well as learning a new skill. It's just semantics.
I think we should do what we 'love to do' to become the best potential version of what we enjoy. If you are trying to be the best version and hating every minute like David Goggins then that won't be much fun.

You answer your own question in what you have said.
If now your time is limited and you find it difficult to read and watch TH-cam then you'll need to choose one over the other.
If watching TH-cam makes you anxious then the better option would be to read.
My book has a vast array of subject matter within it which should keep you mentally busy for a long time. There are many subjects in my book which will take many years to understand. The understanding will come about it time.
