NAD 5325 CD Player repair

- This is a very interest issue - first it start with a easy to find issue and then it comes worst! The NAD 5325 is a well build Drive that I've never seen first. The Drive is so excellent constructed & build that I never see it before and that this drive will never be build is sad. Please subscribe and have fun to watch. weakbit
A very tough one ! hard to find the fault !, bravo ! from France...
sometimes I don't find the failure. It is in that way that I have not all spar parts that I want to change and so it comes then on the end I've questions but no spar parts. You must know this machines are also very old around +20 years and so it comes that I don't get a spar part. weakbit

Btu you know - what can we do if on Pin11 from IC201 are not come out a "spin-motor enable" signal? Do you have any idea? A Chip will be good to change but nobody have IC201!
@@weakbit633 is it possible that the front panel controls have anything to do with the problem? the white conectors of the front panel to the main board look that dont make a good conection...
@@weakbit633 Check page 9 in the Service manual, it's interesting info :) But, i guess the ic201 is gone.
@@weakbit633 Try to power on the spin motor through external power source.
@@Blambik what for a surprise! Disc motor rotates correctly: NO => Check output signal pin11 IS201 is it high: NO => Defective IC201
That you can see in my Video that I found out that Pin11 is death. But there is no IC201 nowhere available! Tough!
I produce in future a T-Skirt where it is the IC201 with pin11 that is low to see! haha and under it "If pin11 is low then you're death"

Not really - that come so I was also astonished! But I said what can we do in this case it is not possible to repair it in case of there are come not signal out of this IC201 on Pin11!
