Fui pescador con palangre y, es un arte de pezca 100 % peligroso, no qusiera imaginar que sucederia si mientras ellos corren el palangre come un pez de mucha fuerza ó de alta velocidad, los anzuelos estan dispuestos directamente en la guia o madrina, de hecho saldrian disparados llevandose consigo a todo a su paso sobre todo al que coloca las carnadas, siempre utilizabamos presilla para separar los bajantes de los anzuelos.

The sardine you used to fish with are healthier for you than the large fish you where catching. larger fish can have a high level of mercury.
