The conversation at the end was real!! A lot of these youtubers started with “make money content” and now they begging people to support the content they are actually passionate about, but that’s not what people came for. It’s inconsistent with their brand. Queen is an example of using “make money content” and it working. She did pranks and challenges but it was NEVER lost in her fans that she was passionate about music.
Yeah. I think it goes south when the youtubers don’t make it clear from the start that they want to do other things like music. They get 7 million subs and then they just release a single that isn’t successful because it feels like it came out of no where instead of them making it clear that they really want to do music from the start and that the other videos are just to support their music career or to get to know their fans.
