We all know how good Rodtang is, but Danial's movement, feints, boxing, and overall temperament were very impressive, particularly in the first round. It's a shame he lost his composure and control after being rocked, but he clearly has excellent skills.
When rodtang gets "rocked", he drops his hands and gives you a free shot just to let you know that your best shot does nothing. Rodtang gets in your head, and when he hits, it's nothing you ever felt before. He's made of brick, I almost don't understand it.
But yes, I do agree Daniel is IMPRESSIVE. He has some serious power too and crisp technique. His shadow boxing must be insane
You realize that Rodtang quickly adapted to those movements and dropped him in the 2nd. Such movements and feints are only good if they're effective; otherwise it's just a ploy and if you can't execute an effective offense; Rodtang will read you like a kindergarten book and take you to school.
Two tough hard men ...but still showing respect and piety for each other ... remarkable...

It is impossible, fight-fan or not, to not see the beauty in the respect the fighters give each other after the match is over.
You could see it as self-serving and good business. You don't get many matches if you make people look bad win-or-lose. This is about money remember.
Both fighters really have sport man conduct.Once the bell rang finishing the last round both apologized each other.Great fighters.

It looked like Rodtang eased up a bit near the end, possibly out of mercy to his opponent. Very sportsmanlike if that's the case. Some fighters push even harder and try to cause more permanent harm than needed and he almost had a knockout earlier on. Definitely one of my favorite fighters to watch.
Thai here, at 8:09 Rodtang told the referee that Danial lost too much blood. After that, he eases up a lot.
Thai fighters often dance around in the last round if there is a obvious winner to prevent unnecessary damage. I think this is why he did that.

Didn’t get out of second gear. Seemed he was toying with him to see what he had. In some of his other fights he doesn’t do that.
@@josung1002 Nah hes complaining about the amount of blood on him. It causes an oily effect. Thai fighters usually ease up and keep their jabs working when they’re the obvious winner. They fight a lot and try to prevent as much damage as possible

It was honestly incredible to watch. At the end of the day, rodtangs superhuman attributes like steel chin and boulders for hands make him near unstoppable
Danial is one of best Rodtang opponent's! He has a big heart and very courage. Now fight in MMA, but is a serious muay thai fighter. Rodtang like a tank, without a scratch....

Wowzers. These guys are TOUGH! Max respect. Both are highly skilled, but all things being equal, it seems Rod's ability to win is a lot to do with his ability to absorb a lot of pain and inflict it on his opponant x2 regardless. Great life lesson.
There were no losers here IMO, they are both amazing strong, determined and crazy men. I'd never want to fight either of them.
Interesting that Williams corner is coaching throughout the entire fight while Rodtangs corner are a lot more quiet and just let him work and only seem to speak at the most intense moments of the fight
