Wow, so pretty! Almost 15 minutes flies by when you don't know what the heck you're doing and are taking notes. I'm so glad you used 3 colors in the demo because I didn't realize at first how much I'd need it. I'm doing a project where each family member this blanket is going to is represented by 3 colors of something that person likes, and I wanted to do the math tonight to be sure before I pick up my order in store tomorrow in case I need to grab a few more skeins. One person is a child who loves Elsa, so you can imagine the shades of blue, and of course the white has got to have sparkles. Thanks!
So happy you like the stitch! The frozen inspired colors will look so fabulous and I am sure they will adore it! Thank you so much for watching and I hope you enjoy making your blankets! 💕🌸
@nanascraftyhome I finally got all the yarn balls wound and started trying it out. Partially through color #2, I thought, that's IT?!?!? 🥰 I like it even more now that I'm realizing I might actually get this done before Christmas, and I'm certainly feeling better about trying new stitches!
This is a beautiful stitch! I will be trying this one today! I love everything fall and this will be perfect to make a lap blanket. Thank you so much for this tutorial!

Love this! Making a table runner with this stitch. Did you carry your yarn up the side when you changed colors or did you fasten off the yarn? Thank you for this wonderful pattern!
I am so glad you like it! I fastened off - but if you were to add a border edge to cover those yarn jogs up the side that would be a great thing to do - so many less edges to weave in! 😊
So glad you found this tutorial helpful! 😊 There are so many crochet borders that would look great with this stitch. I think something that would let the texture of this stitch shine would be a more simple border perhaps a hdc in the third loop like the one I used for this blanket here (free crochet pattern) would look great: nanascraftyhome.com/aurora-skies-ribbed-crochet-baby-blanket-free-pattern/
