This one was crazy! Dolfin's elevator freestyle, Ryan's sprint, the Bison's fight up so many stairs! What did you find most impressive in this video? More from this shoot here: instagram.com/nicksymmonds
What killed you was doing repeat races up the stairs. Clearly to any floor you would have taken it as Ryan proved at the very end. One set of fresh legs vs elevator has the person winning.
AND then still beating the elevator to 9 :D even if he had 10s head start but yeah u never know what u get :D and if the building is busy that will take much longer.. try using them in hospital lol 2min of waiting
@@duckie3006 still, it was nine floors, an elevators vs a man running in the stars for nine floors, not only that, but the man runned 7 floors before that (he outrun the elevator 7 times) and Nick, also had that luck
@@obsidiausisabadname6552but for some reason the elevator always leaves first floor after being used to come down. Probably uses python random number generator to make its usage slower
In college, I used to race the elevator to the 5th floor in my dorm. I started as soon as the elevator door was closing. I always won even when the elevator went straight to floor 5. It helped to be on the track and cross country team!
I have done many races up the CN tower in Toronto (about 110 floors) - best time is 12:30. Stairs are tough, you feel like throwing up at the top (if you are really pushing yourself). I also did 7x in a row one day =about 770 floors or almost 1.5 vertical miles.
Every time I watch a Nick’s video it gives me a boost of energy to get up and start training! Infectious energy and a good soul!! So happy for your success… God Bless ❤️
I discovered this channel a few days ago, You are great Nick! Hope in the future I will come to your challenges at the track and field pitch.. I'm from Italy!
Nick, if you're looking for something like this, I would recommend one of the Chicago stair climbs. Lurie Children's hospital does a fundraiser stair climb up the AON building in Chicago. You go from floor 2 to floor 82, my personal record is just under 17 minutes. February 5th, 2023. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Would be interesting to see results with lift open straight away on the ground floor. Waiting for the lift was inconsist. Just useful to know as a real world test. Worth having a second version of this video to compare the results.
Olympic Runner vs Bus would be fun too. City buses stop frequently and take unpredictable time to pick up passengers. It would be a similar mix of luck and fitness.
You should've waited until the elevator doors opened before beginning each race, not when he pressed the button. Not only does this eliminate the factor of having to wait for the elevator to reach floor one each time, but it gives Nick time to cool down a bit before going again.
They got some great stair climbs in Chicago! The Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower) in November, the Hancock building and AON center. It's amazing what the top times are!
That was tough! I have a question for Nick, did you work out in stairs in your active years? Is it something that runners do? Seems like a really effective training!
1st time watching you today and it's been over 4 hours now and I can't stop .amazing work and content you putting out there bro. And so for that you gain another sub ..big up yourself .frm🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
HUGE respect for Ryan (and Nick). I know how it feels like to race up 8 stairs. Coincidentally, I had to do the same at school because of a fire drill and my classroom is at 9/F.
Try to race the Shanghai Tower world’s fastest elevator. 118 stories high. 118 floors in about 55 seconds. Bet you can’t do it going up. Going down you might if you jump out at 118 stories high.
I've done vertical mile races (about 570 stories 8 x 73 floors). I have done many sports and this was the worst I have felt after. It didn't help that the air was terrible in the stairways. Elevators were waiting at the top of the building for us and so there is only about a minute rest before you are starting again. My time was about 1 hr 50 min. The world record holder lapped me 3 times.
I think why the bison couldn’t do it is cause he couldn’t celebrate his victories in classic Bison fashion by screaming at the top of his lungs ahah. Good video as always love watching them
Used to run 8 flights of stairs every day at my work place before working at home. Think it would have been more precise if Nick started at door and waited till Dolfin gets inside the elevator.
This one was crazy! Dolfin's elevator freestyle, Ryan's sprint, the Bison's fight up so many stairs! What did you find most impressive in this video? More from this shoot here: instagram.com/nicksymmonds
I thought Dolfin’s rapping was funny cause as viewers, we knew he wasn’t gonna beat Ryan 😂
But I thought Nick’s endurance was the most impressive. He could’ve saved some energy on a few of the flights if he knew where the elevator was
fr
Same thing but going down is harder - human runner is slower
What killed you was doing repeat races up the stairs. Clearly to any floor you would have taken it as Ryan proved at the very end. One set of fresh legs vs elevator has the person winning.
Nick: intense breathing and struggling to keep up
Elevator man: chilling and accepting any defeat
Cameraman: managing to keep up with nick with ease
The fact ryan can keep the camera steady while going as fast as nick the entire time is quite crazy
It’s because its a go pro, go pros are like the best at that one task
But no discredit to Ryan
Digital Image stabilization has nothing to do with camera guys being good
Night
Respect to the cameraman for running along with Nick every single time.
Haha I was gonna point that out too 😅
AND then still beating the elevator to 9 :D even if he had 10s head start but yeah u never know what u get :D and if the building is busy that will take much longer.. try using them in hospital lol 2min of waiting
whats faster, elevator or camera man?
Dang it lol
Ryan is faster than nick
The fact an Olympian didn't beat the elevator but a cameraman did is the best.
When he did it ot took the elevator mocht longer to get down and stuff
@@duckie3006 still, it was nine floors, an elevators vs a man running in the stars for nine floors, not only that, but the man runned 7 floors before that (he outrun the elevator 7 times) and Nick, also had that luck
camera men are always the most powerful beings you could imagine
The camera man has to be faster than the olympian to get the shots.
*former olympian
Nick Symmonds basically just made a video about our entire childhood.
Fax🔥
I think its not full childhood but still good vid
sorry, but I didn't do that when I was a kid
109th like nice100th oops
fr
Ryan killed it. Nick was slowing him down on the other floors 😂
Cameramen have always been known to be insanely good runners.
Nick raced against so many things, now we need Nick vs an actual bison.:D
I really want to get that video made!!
Oof, bison can run up to 35mph
As someone who has been chased by one while it wasn’t even running, I don’t recommend it lol
Theres no way hes beating an actual Bison if he Bison ran it's max speed in a straight line.
@@AnonW i dont think humans can beat anything on 4 legs(ok there are sloths and turtles) only if its a marathon lol
The real hero of this video is Ryan, doing all Nick's runs then his own.
Never underestimate the speed of a camera man
Lol
Speed of camera men:infinity
I love how they are being quiet and are aware to not disturb the people in there. Love the content, Nick.
didn't he say there was no one in the building?
@@obsidiausisabadname6552but for some reason the elevator always leaves first floor after being used to come down. Probably uses python random number generator to make its usage slower
Gotta feel for the cameraman.
FASTEST KID IN THE WORLD!!!

nick was cutting the wind for him
Pop
u jogging and he go by u in 0.001 seconds
I love how the olympic runners take all the credit while the camera man just breezes by them

Dolfin somehow made him standing in an elevator entertaining

"Yo I'm in the elevator, elevating above these haters" DOLPHIN😭😩🔥 9:25 Nah bruh!!
I'm convinced Ryan could beat an 20 floor elevator with that kind of a head start
Nick is almost at 1 million subscribers 😆 Doesn’t surprise me with this type of content
So look forward to your videos. So full of positivity 😊
So close to 1M. Keep going Nick!
And I love the fact the tallest building in all of Eugene is 8 floors😃 .
That's not tall actually
that's unfortunately not true
Tallest building in Eugene is 18 floors.
In the end
Nick: that’s a wrap!
Me: that was a rap!

As usual, cameraman always the strongest/fastest/most skillled
8 floors, that's puny 😆Try in my building, 25 floors from P-2. Now that's a workout!
I love this content. Very original! Yeah Ryan the cameraman deserves some respek.
I love how it changes from intense music to Mr. Dolphine living the time of his life

Respect to the camera man for defeating both.
He din't
Nick should have done the first few floors then gone for the top. Also if they waited for the elevator first it would have been way harder!
Respect for Ryan running with a man as fast as Usain Bolt and keeping a camera within him without it falling.
"Behind every great elevator is a great elevator operator" - Dolfin 8:20

Congratulations for 10 million subscriber for advance 🍫🔥🔥🤘❤️🤘
I remember back before you had 300k subs 😢 love the vids Nick!!!
I love the extra commentary from the elevator jockey because he's not out of breath at all lol

Yo Nick I don’t think it’s mentioned enough how good you are at embedding them ads in there.
Master level 😂😂
You’re great! Thank you for all you do
Love that you finally found a foe worthy your competition
I don't know, maybe our elevators are too slow, but I always use stairs and run, because it's faster and healthy haha
I don't think anything busts my lungs like running up a building.
Your consistency and quality of content never disappoints!
💯💯💯💯
Comment bot smh
A building where a family friend lives has such a slow elevator that if I don't have heavy items to carry, I just spring 7 floors up.
What's next, racing the elevator in the 160 story building in Dubai?

I need you to post more often! I love watching ur vids n working out it PUMPS me up to go find ya one day for one of your challenges lol
Looks like u have to be an Olympic runner or a young duck who's been running for fun most of their life to beat an elevator. Fun video.
I'm loving these video ideas.

the elevator guy is funny omgg😂😂

5:10 when the race starts
It's a good day when Nick posts a video. It's a great day when Dolfin raps on it.
He said well done to dolphin he should have said well done to himself because dolphin just had to up elevators lol
Nobody talking about how the camera man could keep up with Nick 🥶
Thats all people are commenting bro 🤣
The fact that the video is actually 10:00😂

Solid video idea.
Heck of a work out.
I take all the stairs and walk the floor at airports to try and beat all escalators and people movers.
Nick you should race it to the top first before you get tired. And race it down too! Great video!
Ohh Ryan did it so casually 💅 coolest guy

It's the effort going to the elevator that takes long instead of stairs right away.
nick: can’t breath. heart racing. struggling to stay up
elevator guy: where’s the elevator music
cameraman: I believe I am the god of this video.
Eight floors? Imagine if he did that in an apartment building as tall as the one a friend of mine lives in, that one is like 20 floors
Lol the camerman is not sweating at all and he is all fine lol
Ryan strikes again! 🔥
Dolfin the best elevator operator in the world
You should start when the elevator arrives because you get a 10ish second head start while he waits for the elevator
This is best memories of childhood ❤️😍😔
Props to the cameraman… without him and his speed, non of the footage today whoud be even possible.
Only 8? We have a building with 17 floors. But ELEVATOR IS BROKEN!!!!!
I love the fact that the cameraman is running as fast as an olympic runner
