Hi Balaji, thanks we’re thrilled you liked the blog. Hope you guys have a fantastic trip. We normally visit Mahabaleshwar in the monsoons so in that season not much sightseeing is possible but cold weather is great. If you are going in April for a day I would suggest definitely do a meal at Babachi Wadi (Maharashtrian Food) and check out the market area. A beautiful place to see would be Morarji Castle but we had tried to go there and it was closed to the public at the time. Same was the case with the lake which does have boating we believe. There is a place for adventure sports, you’ll need to ask around how to get there. And since you are near Panchgini, Panchgini Tabletop is a popular tourist destination. Otherwise there are a host of points you can visit for great views, such as Elephant Head point, Elphinstone point, sunset point, Wilson point (this was purely ok ok). Lingmala waterfall also gets some attention but I haven’t been there personally. En route to Mahabaleshwar by road you could also do a meal and some nice shopping at Mapro Gardens, they even have wood oven pizzas... yummm. Hope this helps you. You might need to pick and choose basis your interest areas from the above mentioned if you only have a day as all wont be possible in such a short time.

Actually, we love going there in the rainy season cos the weather is cold, we are surrounded by fog and it’s very romantic all round. But guess we just love the rains 🙈 if you don’t like the rain yes then Mahabaleshwar in the monsoons is not your cup of tea.

Thanks for writing to us, Bharatsinh. We mostly speak English but we love the suggestion and will try to see if it’s possible to work more Hindi into our videos. Cheers!
